In terms of recovery time and discomfort I went into it open minded, it would be whatever it was. During the 1st 4-5 days I used the prescription pain-relievers Dr. Salemy had prescribed as prescribed. After that I incorporated Ibuprofen in place of some of the other and continued that transition. I didn't take all of the prescription pain-relievers I had available. I did take time to rest my body! I walked everyday and did lightweight busy stuff off and on for about 10 days with lots of resting in between. It was odd that some days my boobs would be more sore other days my thigh lipo areas were more sore. It was a challenge to find comfortable sleeping positions for about 2 weeks. It was all very tolerable though, no pain no gain. haha It has been just over 4 weeks since my surgery. In my thighs the visual bruising has been gone for a little more than a week, there is still a deep bruised feeling that I am aware of. Yesterday was a big family clean day which included washing of some windows and vacuuming, I was on the move and feeling good all day. By 6PM I found myself exhausted. A subtle reminder that there is still plenty of healing going on. Healing well is my job in this, I am a vey driven, hardworking person and "resting when my body tells me too" is not my rule of thumb. I made a strong mental commitment to do just that, nothing I needed to do was worth risking any complications in healing. Good planning with your schedule is important. Don't try to squeeze it into a busy schedule, rather make it your schedule and plan to let it be priority for a few short weeks of your life. I have never liked my thighs and butt and my breasts have suffered with each child and general aging. The reality that I was able to have the surgery started in Nov/Dec. 2010. For me and my supportive family February was the month with the most free time for me to rest and heal. Dr. Salemy was supportive and able to accommodate me. I am thrilled with my entire experience and the outcome!

Hi Achorage,

Thanks for the review, but before I add you to the Breast Implant  community page could you please provide a bit more information about your experience to fully aid our community.

Did you experience pain and downtime, do you have a few more details about the overall procedure? What made you decide to go through with this procedure, how long had you been thinking about it?

Thanks so much,

-Britt
