Pics with the sizers
$8,500
Here are some pictures from my consultation appointment with Dr. Salemy. His assistant (I don't think she was a nurse) gave me a plain sports bra to put on, and then the gray t-shirt (which they let you keep). Then she handed me sizers to try. I can't remember the sizes of these, but we ended up agreeing that somewhere between 260-285ccs looked best.

Hi! I'm curious how your pre-op appts went? My surgery with Dr. Salemy is next week! Excited, nervous, and ready for it to be over! I'm doing a final final sizing the morning of. I'm still undecided between 275cc and 295cc. It's funny that I'm stressing it so much because the other doctor that I went to a consult with was going to do one of each! Apparently he thought one of my breast was a little smaller the the other. I actually can't really tell the difference so makes me think either size will be relatively similar. I'll keep you guys posted on my post surgery results. Wish me luck!

Wavering between round and anatomical
I'm having second thoughts about choosing the anatomical shaped implants, as so many women go with round! I've been reviewing tons of pictures on this website and I truly don't see much of a difference in results afterward. I just know that I DON'T want an obviously-fake look, and with not much tissue on top, anatomical seemed like an easy choice. Now I wonder if I could go with round and still look natural (and maybe also be a bit perkier?). Any advice?

I just found your post and wanted to let you know I had the same goals you did and used Dr Salemy. I am on the thin side and am tall. I got the anatomical implants and I am very happy with my results. Please make sure you keep in mind that you will probably have some rippling no matter what you go with since you don't have much padding to work with, I have some but it is on the outside of my breast aND only when I bend over and move my arms a certain way. Totally livable for me. Good luck!

I am 95% sure that I'm going to go with anatomical shape... 285ccs, I think. My pre-op appointment isn't until December 28th, so I've still got a while before I can go over everything with him and his staff again.
When you say anatomical is harder, do you mean that the surgery is more difficult to do? It's definitely something to consider. Dr. Salemy has done so many breast augs, that I'm pretty confident that he'll be able to pull it off. And I think anatomical shape is gaining popularity as more people become aware of them as a 'natural-looking' option. I'm just trying to be cautious because my upper body is extra thin (unlike my lower body... I have plenty of hips and booty. ;) ). Because I'm so scrawny and my ribs show on my chest, I'm afraid round would just look too obvious. I couldn't find your profile, but I did see that you posted your stats in a comment and you're tiny also!
Basically, I think our best bet is describing what we want with words and photos, and then letting Salemy work his magic. My hope is that he'll be able to get us as close to what we want based on his experience with LOTS of breasts. ;)
Are you nervous for the big day?
What I mean is anatomical implants feel harder/firmer than the rounds. I definitely like the natural look of anatomical, but they compromise on the firmness. So far I've only touched round implants (couple acquaintances got them) and they feel really soft. I've never touched anatomicals before, and the reviews on this website have been inconsistent.
Ahhhh I'm really nervous but also excited to have boobs. I'm petite like you and barely have any breast tissue up top (5'1, 92 lbs). My biggest fear is if they end up looking fake and I regret my decision, but I'm trying to keep a positive mindset. Btw, do you have a list of things to buy in preparation for the surgery? I'm guessing we'll need to buy extra surgical bras since we'll need to wear them for 3 weeks, but how do you determine what size to buy? Please share if you have any tips and lists.
I'm Gaby btw :)
