Hello everyone! I can believe it is finally my time to give back to this community of amazing individuals who have helped me tremendously so far in my journey.
I have wanted a BA for 10 years, seriously for about 3 and have done extensive research for 1 year. Yesterday was my first of two consultations. I had my appointment in Bellevue WA with Dr. Rand. He blew my mind with his communication skills and the calm demenour his team had. He made me feel so at ease and stayed the entire time EVEN through trying on the sizers. He wants to be involved as much as Possible. I'm a person who asks a lot of questions and he did not get frustrated at all, rather glad i was asking questions.
He measured me at 13.5 BWD and bc of my measurements i have 4 choices. Bc i like the HP look we started with 550cc in the Mentor memory gel. Bc i wNted to go larger my only option is UHP 700-750cc. This number scared me but i can tell you DONT FOCUS ON A NUMBER OR PROFILE!!!!!! see what looks best on YOU and then work with your PS.
I have one more consultation with Dr. Salemy. Wish me luck on my journey!

dr salemy consult and hard decision
SeattleChickJune 24, 2017
second consultation was with dr salemy and was drastically a different experience. he was busier and didn't have a lot of time to spend with the patient. i saw him for maybe 15 min. i am around the same cc s dr rand but he has natrelle instead of mentor and 750 is not an option in natrelle. i was leaning salemy in research but now i'm torn between brand options and surgeons! i need some advice! rand was way more sincere and caring and def has the experience so do an amazing job but there are way more reviews on salemy!! what do i do???? help!!! cost is about the same.

Go with the person who is most confident and look at before and after photos from both surgeons x

Thanks for the advice! I had to separate who i felt comfortable with and who i felt confident with. After all i'm here for surgery not a night out for drinks lol Thank you for the advice. i scheduled my surgery with dr salemy

how did you feel the sizers matched up to your final size? i love our results!

I think you need to look at my before pic in my lift review. I had 700s and they were so heavy they affected my posture, caused whiplash in my neck and made it impossible to do things that I loved. Sure they'll look high at first, but please peruse my review and dogma a to see how they age over time and what they do to your skin. Not trying to be a negative spot on your journey. I was once where you are. Had I made more conservative choices I'd have the breasts of a girl my age and not a girl my ages grandma.

Pre op complete!!!!

Pre op was great!!!! Dr Salemy again didn’t spend my time in the room but didn’t make me feel rushed or that i was bothersome. He is definitely a “get to the point and a job well done “ type of person. His staff is amazing and so excited (and nervous) for my surgery date. I again shows i’m my goal picks which are a little smaller than I originally chose but he assured me that i am very wide and large bwd the original choice of 745 is a great choice. I trust him 100% and know i am in great hands!

Look at my review for breast lift and you'll get an idea of how you might look after 20 years with 700 cc or larger. Also check dogmama and her review of implant removal. I'd go smaller. You'll change over the years and large implants damage your natural tissue as well as hurt your posture and can absolutely cause chest wall deformity. I've been in your shoes. I'm just at a different stage of the journey, and I wish 25 years ago I could have seen what implants look like 10,15, 20 years later. We didn't have this site. In fact there was no internet. You've got a crystal ball. Use it to your advantage. Good luck!

didn’t you go over the muscle? I’m sure that has a factor in the time of dropping. yes sagging has to do with weight and such but genetics play a huge role as well. I have no doubt in my mind that sagging will happen but 10 years is awhile away and expect to have another operation at that timeframe

I have terrific skin. No stretch marks from two pregnancy and no loose skin anywhere else. Just thought you could use a well rounded analysis. Wishing you luck.

When’s surgery date?

December 1, 2017
Wow! I was wondering the same thing! (Thanks for reading my mind, SuzieQ! Hahaha!) I had went through last night and read your story again to see if there was a surgery date but didnt see one. YES! That day will be here faster than you realize! Be sure to start prepping your skin with palmers cocoa butter and bio oil now, so you can control getting any stretch marks on your chest. My implants were put in through my armpit, so I used the cocoa butter on my breasts as soon as my dr took off my dressing the very next day. I didn't get any new stretch marks. My boobs just recycled the ones I already had on me, then faded back down after my implants dropped into place. I still use the cocoa butter and bio oil on my skin at almost 10 months PO. : )

I just purchased bio oil so that’s good to hear!! i’m so nervous and keep going through my size choice. I personally think they look good on my frame... large but not crazy. I spoke to my surgeon today and voiced some concerns and i inquired about 650 cc but he said to see a noticeable difference between the two i wold be looking at 550 as the next step down and i think those will be just too small for me. Going back on monday to try on the sizers one more time...
is this normal?

December 2, 2017
Yes normal. I went back to office to retry sizers. First I thought 397 421 too big, and should go 371 397.you lose 10% under the muscle so he 397 421 we’re perfect for me. I was droopy 36d, needed lift. But now 1friend says by boobs are huge 36dd i dont think so, they are proportional to my body. I could have gone up 100 cc,i think that’s a shot glass. My husband thinks they are freaky large, again i did this for me and I’m happy with how they are. You keep trying on sizers as much as you want, can make rice sizers too.
December 2, 2017
thank goodness. i have been prepping and planing and doing research for over a year and it still seems like i haven’t done enough lol

December 2, 2017
It’s common to second guess. I️ almost slid out of the Pre-op room to don’t do my mmo, but decided I’d never get that far again.
December 2, 2017
Yes, go back as many times as you feel necessary. I did several times. After I had my breast lift in 2011, I was gonna go back in 6 months to get my implants. At that time, I had almost went with like a 350cc or 400cc because when I tried on the sizers with that flimsy bra they let you borrow, it made me look like my breasts were going to project like torpedoes and it scared me, so I almost went with those smaller sizes. But then I decided to hold off and just enjoy my newly lifted boobs instead. It took me 6 years to finally decide to get them. But during that 6 years, I did a lot of research, understood implants and how they work in the body a lot better and figured out what size would really work for my body type and the look I was going for. So I am SOOO glad I had waited and researched more because I would have put something WAAAY to small for my body, just because the way the sizers looked "over" my boob in their crappy bra scared me! A 350cc probably wouldn't have made a difference at all in the way I looked. It would've not given me ANY upper pole fullness like I wanted, because back then I had no idea about the process of dropping and fluffing. I had thought they get put in and stayed right there at the upper pole! I was a dummy! Haha! So glad I waited cuz I now have exactly what I wanted back then but didn't know what that size actually was! : )

Look at forum tall women getting implants, lots of comments, similar sized ladies out there?.
December 2, 2017
yeah i keep looking at 550 on other women who are smaller and think they look small on them. maybe i’m letting the number scare me. Idk i look at the sizer pics of me and think they look great and other times think they look big. i really need some objective opinions on how the sizers look on me from those who don’t mind larger implants. @suzietexas24 where can i find those forums?
December 2, 2017
That is awesome to hear!! gah it’s hard looking on her bc there aren’t very many broad larger women
December 2, 2017
do you guys think going to 650 instead of 750 would make a noticeable difference or is it just numbers in my head? I am over thinking this way too mich
December 2, 2017
Exactly! Thatw what I thought too! Hen I'd look up 750-800cc implants, they were always on really thin petite framed women. I found a couple reviews of ladies around the size that I was planning on getting. Not many, but there were a few and it helped me a lot to kinda get an idea of what I may look like. But, like I had mentioned before, you will not know for sure until they are in "your" chest behind "your" muscle.
December 2, 2017
You also gotta remember, when they put the implant in, you lose cc's. I was told, if you choose a 750cc it will actually end up a 700. A 650cc will end up a 600. I had chose a 750cc implant. My dr did an overfill to 800cc, so I actually ended up with a 750cc breasts.

A lady in lingerie shop said she was broad, she looks like a size 0, she’s 31 underbust, I’m 34. I don’t know if that’s broad.
December 2, 2017
Hahaha! Maybe she was just calling herself a broad cuz she's a woman! Lol

December 3, 2017
haha that’s calling buying too small of shirts! she doesn’t know the struggle we have with button downs lol
December 3, 2017
She could be like the Hulk when she gets mad, maybe? Don't make her mad! : D
