So I originally bought the Bitepod as a cheaper alternative to AcceleDent and I couldn't be more upset.
I am an adult with clear braces and have maybe had 20 uses out of it and it had completely stopped working and the mouthpiece is ripped. I was very gentle with it and no water got to the motor.
When I contacted customer service they were rude and malicious to me because it "didn't work" like the others.
You would assume after spending $100+ that they'd be more professional with you.
I do not recommend this product.
BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER!

Bitepod works really nicely, no problem now. I received a new one once the first one had a problem with the back door. I am know with 7 days instead of 15 days with my invisalign, can't be happier

I ordered the Bitepod but it was never mailed to me. So I got the AcceleDent instead. A new one on ebay for $350, not $800 which is what AcceleDent wanted for it. Hope this helps.

I have a bite pod and like it. I change my aligners every 10 days. My first bite pod stopped working after 4 months and the company replaced it. They shipped it very fast and sent me a return label to return the bad one. Very happy with their customer service!

I want to add I bought it from dentakit.com and they contacted the manufacturer for me and took care of it.

I've been using BitePod for 4 months and it's just perfect. Works well. 20 minutes per day and allows me to move faster through my aligners. I called the company twice with general questions (including "What will you do if this breaks?") and they were very helpful. Honestly, it's a similar device to Acceledent but you don't go through your dentist. If you're a savvy customer who researching any purchase thoroughly (like me) then go with Bitepod. If you need your hand held through most things get the Acceledent through your dentist. Of course you'll pay much, much more for essentially the same thing. Also know: any dentist that "recommends" Acceledent over Bitepod is doing so because he/she receives a hefty commission from one and nothing with the other.
