Hi guys , so I've been reading on this site about others experiencing similar stories as me so I thought I'd share mine. Somehow it helps to know I'm not alone. I'm 23 years old and I recently got a tattoo on my left forearm of three wild roses. The tattoo itself is beautifully done and has meaning behind it, I just feel that it is WAY bigger than I'd envisioned. I love the tattoo but hate the size and placement. This was also my first ever tattoo, so I feel it looks so weird having a large forearm tattoo with nothing on my upper arms. Is it weird? Maybe this is just in my head. I'm just having such a hard time adjusting ive even thought about lazer removal. I've become obsessed with browsing the Internet for lazer removal success stories and others experiences. I just feel so sad all the time and keep asking myself WHY did I choose to put the tattoo there and why didn't I get it put elsewhere after seeing the large stencil. Live and learn I guess , but this is really eating at me. Would like to hear your opinions or similar stories. Thanks for listening

I think your tattoo is awesome, and getting a tattoo (especially a very visible one) can be a big adjustment. I suggest living with it for a bit. I got a tattoo on my forearm as well and jumped right into removal...and the truth is sometimes I wish I would've waited just a bit longer. Sit with it for a bit. If you find yourself able to live with it, then great! It can be an adjustment mentally, and ultimately the choice is yours, but I like the tattoo. :D

Thanks a lot ! :) I've only had it a few months so I'll probably wait awhile longer before making any decisions. I know it would be a really long painful process !

You also have to keep in mind that full removal often isn't possible- so perhaps the beautiful tattoo you do have would be better than a half removed version of it. Best of luck!

I love that tattoo!!!! Gorgeous! I am adjusting to a huge one on my arm still. I am having part of it removed as I hate what I added but trying to adjust to a tattoo is hard. I would keep it for awhile and see if you can get used to it. It's gorgeous!

Beautiful tattoo, give yourself some time to adjust and then see how you're feeling.

It looks absolutely beautiful! I recently got my tenth tattoo, and immediately freaked out afterwards because it was slightly different than what I had envisioned -- it's normal. Now it's my favorite tattoo! Give yourself some time to get used to it and you'll feel better!!
