How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

I had Radiesse injections in both cheeks. On one side, the doctor hit a nerve and left me with trigeminal neuralgia according to the neurologist I saw. I could not feel the whole side of my face from my eye to my ear to my lip and teeth. I couldn't even feel my teeth when I flossed. It has been a severely traumatic experience for me. It's only in the last month that I have been able to tolerate the pain and discomfort, which is 6 months after it happened. I still have pain and numbness in my lip and cheek. I paid $700 for the procedure, but I have paid thousands to be treated by other doctors to care for my disability - medication for nerve damage, office visits, etc. The doctor who did this to me won't help at all. His staff do not seem to have an interest in helping other than to shut me up. I never even got an informed consent for this procedure. I wish I had!!

The doctor who did this to me seemed very nervous when I confronted him about what he did. I think he knows the damage he caused. I never even got an informed consent from him about the risks. Good grief.
