Could Not Be Happier with my Blepharoplasty!

WORTH IT
After much research on blepharoplasty I decided that an oculofacial plastic surgeon was the best choice of surgeon for my procedure.

After much research on these specialists I made my appointmet to see Dr. A.J. Amadi in Seattle. I intended on checking out perhaps one more Dr. but after meeting Dr. Amadi I felt absolutely no need to do so and booked my surgery date that same day.

As a bonus, Dr. Amadi has a beautiful office with kind and friendly staff.

The day of my surgery couldn’t come fast enough for me and the day of my surgery, Dr. Amadi was great and reassuring. In what felt like no time I was on my way home to recover. My recovery was pretty painless and even though there was some swelling, it truly was minimal.

Dr. Amadi was quick to fit me in when I had a concern about the healing process and he explained it to me, again, and put me at ease with his calm, no nonsense way.

I healed quickly and I could not be happier with my results. No more of Are you ok? Are you feeling alright? Did you not get a good night sleep? or Are you tired? Now it’s mostly wow you’re looking great!

I absolutely would recommended Dr. Amadi and would say to anyone considering a lower transconjunctival blepharoplasty to go and talk to Dr. Amadi about it and if it’s the right thing for you, to book it ASAP!

You will not regret it.

You look great!
Please forgive me for being a *newbie*, and not really yet understanding the proper questions to ask, nor how to inquire regarding the proper medical terminology.
-How is the current status of the bruising that is noticeable under your mylar bags in your before picture? The after picture seems to cut off.

-It looks as if there is a small indentation in your picture *viewers left*. Is that just from the lighting, or has that always been there?
-did you also have botox? It looks as if your 11's have improved quite drastically. Was this from the bleph, or was it from botox, or a combo of both?

I apologize for the novice nature of my inquiry, but am seriously considering some type of bleph in the future.
- Is the second picture from four months post procedure as noted in the caption?
-Calie
I was wondering this also. The only problem I see in the "before" are the malar bags/mid-cheek grooves and the "after" cuts off so high we can't even tell if it was fixed or not.
Hi. Yes I have a hyperpigmentation as a result from acne and that is what you see, I have pigmentation under my eyes and though the surgery can’t make that go away it is certainly much less noticeable to me.
& yes I had some botox :)

I wish you great results
Sorry about that I love my results have great compliments. Good luck!
Correct urlm.
Apparently,
One must consider the combination of multiple surgeries, and sometimes, years after the fact; when purveying "before" and "after" photos of certain procedures made by certain doctors.
Umm not sure about your comment My photo is from
Before and about 4.5 months after
Samnex, Caliente1 was saying that while a person who's looking to get work done is looking through before and after shots, they need to investigate what else has been done besides just the work that is listed- example- your review is only about blepharoplasty and yet, you had other stuff done too (botox) so it's misleading to the viewer of the before and after shots, in a way, not to also tell us that you had other things done too. Otherwise people will think that they will have those same striking results JUST from the blepharoplasty alone. I hope that clears the confusion up.
I believe Caliente1's comment about "years after the fact" refers to her/his advice about it's possible that us consumers should also be looking at more photos further out from the date of surgery. Reason being- many times people will get a surgery and it will look dandy for a while but then within the same year, the person is super upset because it just droops again really fast and so maybe that is why Caliente1 suggested looking at reviews with photos that are further down the line after the surgery vs. just a few months.
