2 years out photo comparison
I am 5'7", 127lb. I have not gained any weight between photos. I am not wearing makeup in either. They are 3 years apart and the photo qualities are not the same. Regardless, my face shape has clearly changed, and not for the better.
2 Years out
I am now 2 years out from Sculptra. The results from the Sculptra have not abated at all, but my face no longer seems to be continuing to grow. Overall it has definitely aged the appearance of my face and reduced the shapeliness I once had. I have gotten a lot of gas-lighting from the aesthetics community when I even remotely express distaste about my results (even to other aestheticians.) There really is a lack of accountability for the work people are doing in this growing industry. I am learning now that less is more, and unfortunately this was an expensive mistake that can't be undone.
Unnatural Results
I originally got sculptra because I wanted my mid face lifted and some help with my smile lines. I asked several providers about threads and they all mentioned sculptra instead. I believed because it stimulated your body to make collagen, it would look natural. However that has not been my experience. I received 2 vials at once and my injector injected into my jawline without my consent. I truly had a beautiful face shape before. Now when I smile, my lips look almost clownishly buried in my cheeks. I have significantly increased facial asymmetry and my cheeks push up into my eyes, worsening my undereye hollows and creating crows feet that were not there before. I believe this was due to lack of skill and an aesthetic eye on the part of my injector, but there’s nothing to be done about it because sculptra is permanent. I’m a year out from the treatment and my face still looks like it’s adding collagen (weirdly, not naturally.) I miss my old face. Don’t recommend.
