I don't know where to start. I had gotten HIFu and Masseater botox done in September, leaving my face way too skinny. Therefore, I became highly anxious about my face and was thinking of ways to restore it. Then, I came across Sculptra and scheduled it with a provider I found on realself. It was an impulse purchase. Looking back, it was an impulse purchase, and so many signs were telling me not to do it. First, the Uber driver dropped me off at the wrong location. Second, there was a mistake in my appointment, and I was not on the file. I regret not taking those signs. However, they still managed to squeeze me in. I trusted the doctor and asked him to evaluate my face because I was squeezed in. Everything was hushed. I later went home, already disliking the instant effect. I was also bruised extremely badly under the eyes for two weeks. I later learned that they are never supposed to inject it under the eyes. I am now already seven weeks in, and I hate it.
First, I hope everyone knows that Sculptra is a product that relies on inflammatory processes. Yes, inflammatory. Some people react more severely to it, and some others less. However, that is what incites your sculpture to grow. Whenever I see my face inflame a bit, I know it was growing, which can be seen as a filler effect for some. Lately, I can sometimes feel tingling under my eyes, which is usually a sign that it is growing. My face can be four different sizes daily, more inflamed before the period or with less sleep (but not pathologically inflamed). And when I have antiinflammatory pills, it gets better. Therefore, I suspect Sculptra is related to immune response. I am incredibly anxious and scared because I don't know what to do or what will happen next. I am now seeking ways to remove it(because I can't stand the fear of worrying about it consistently) and want to eliminate it(at least some before things go south). I prefer surgical removal or suction to inject steroids. I had a rhinoplasty planned, and I had to cancel it because it would incite new inflammation. I am even too scared to get a vaccine shot. After all, it might leave me more inflamed. It left me highly distressed. If you are thinking about getting it, please don't. If you have, please keep up your immune system and don't get another one.
