Irresponsible Behavior on Medical Incident

On February this year, I had my first time sculptra treatment in Wave Plastic Surgery (Costa Mesa) with 1 vial. I clearly communicated with the nurse (Pauline Saria) and the sales (Vivian) that I wish to tighten the face without any puffy or filling effects, I strongly strengthened my cheeks are already too puffy thus I don’t want anything to be added on.
However, the injection of 1 vial sculptra was mostly done on my cheek area, which cause a severe swell on the same day. After one month, I can touch there is a gelosis (peanut size) below my right eye. The return visit was on early April with Pauline (RN) and Vivian (sales), Pauline touched my face and admitted that she might inject too much on the same area (below my right eye) neglecting my aggressive reaction on sculptra. She suggested that I can continue to observe the further result and gelosis may decrease.
On July 22th, I had my second return visit since the gelosis was still there and my cheeks were swollen. Vivian scheduled Dr. Ben Lee for help. I clearly stated that the gelosis caused by sculptra was movable now. My right face was swallowed and cheek area was painful sometimes so I was so much worried about inflammation or scar tissue on my face. But Dr. Ben Lee completely ignored my concerns and simply said there’s nothing they can do.
The Dr. Ben Lee and Vivian didn’t help me to identify why the gelosis caused or how to fix it, they just denied the failure injection and tried to blame me on my own body’s “aggressive reaction to sculptra”. The fact is I didn’t have any fillers on my cheek area or under eyes and all my health reports were good. I was so angry that Dr. Ben Lee and Vivian’s attitude was so irresponsible and unprofessional. The only thing they did was to avoid responsibility and denied their false.
They completely ignored my statement and tried their best to obfuscating the issue. Vivian even denied that she had said “sculptra will help me with tightening up my face” when she was selling me. I appreciate Pauline admitted her mistake at my first return visit. But Dr Ben Lee and Vivian did nothing to help me or fix the incident.
Currently I asked for a refund but Vivian said they don’t have their manager’s name card or email. She only gave me the official line number for waiting their call back. She refused to give me any help on getting refund or getting medical assistance. She said their clinic is only for treatment, it is not a place to get refund or consultant. It is so unreliable and unreasonable that customer need to take the responsibility for contacting all the departments to get refund while they had a medical malpractice.
