Dishonest and Unprofessional Practice
I went to Dr. Anna Avaliani’s office for an UltraClear laser consultation and had to pay a consultation fee, which was supposed to be applied toward treatment. I was shocked when they quoted me over $11,000 for laser and coring on just my face. I felt pressured to leave a $400 deposit, but was told it could be used toward other procedures if I changed my mind.
Later, I found a fantastic UltraClear provider (listed directly on the official UltraClear website) and received the same laser and coring treatment on my full face and neck for only $2,200—with amazing results. When I called to cancel my original appointment, Romina tried hard to convince me not to.
Since I still had a $450 credit, I planned to apply it toward Sculptra. However, I caught COVID and tested positive the day before my appointment. When I notified the office, Romina told me they “don’t care and are vaccinated" and that “COVID was five years ago,” even accusing me of lying. I hope all their other patients are vaccinated. When I said I’d come anyway since they wouldn’t let me reschedule, I asked to switch to Botox instead. Romina refused and said I couldn’t use my credit for Botox — even though my signed document said nothing about that. She also refused to let me speak to the doctor unless I paid $150.
This clinic is all about money, not patient care. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and deceptive about their policies. Upon further research, im not the only one who has dealt with this. I was scammed out of $450, and I’ll be filing a chargeback with documentation. Avoid this place at all costs — there are honest, skilled providers out there who charge fairly and treat people with respect. Bottomline, I was charged for services I did not receive.
