Radiesse
I have decided I would have Radiesse injected this time instead of Sculptra. I had 1 syringe in each cheek. I got little results from 10 viles of Sculptra. I will go back and have another 2 syringes of Radiesse in 2 weeks. Also I had a RHA filler injected into a deep acne scar.

Sculptra treatments
These were a couple of pics in Derms office waiting to get injected with Sculptra. Again i was happy how 10 vials had taken me from this unhealthy look to a more healthy me. Waiting a hour for the numbing cream to take effect then the nurse brought in a tray full of needles. I thought my first visit what have i got myself into? What if this doesnt work. Am i really going to let this doctor put a bunch of needles in my face.

Hi, can you please give me the name of your Derm? Trying to find a reputable doctor for this treatment. Thanks.

Yes though it's been 2 years and now have lost all the volume I had. No I made sure I massaged 5 times a day for 5 days.

You say you've lost all the volume? Does that mean you are back to your first photo?

How long did it take and how many treatments did it take to get your results? It looks amazing!

I had 10 vials. My Doctor injected 2 vials each month. It had taken 6 months of being extremely patient before I seen significant facial volume.

Did it take the full 10 vials before you saw great improvement or did you notice improvement before completing treatment? I’m starting to think the rule of 1 vial per decade/life (ex: 4 vials for 40 years) isn’t accurate...

I seen no improvement until my 4th vial which was only a very subtle improvement but the more vials after that i gradually seen more and more improvement until by the 10th vial i had significant facial volume.

Did you just have sculptra added to the cheeks? Yours is one of the best transformations I have seen.

that was about a year ago im having a maintenance vial this month so I don't go back to the way i was before the 10 treatments. You must do one vial every year.

Mostly, but also some injected in my temple, lower face and jawline areas.

My understanding is that Sculptra is a gradual treatment. The typical treatment is two vials every six weeks -- typically a total of one vial per decade of life, but that's not a hard rule, could be more or less depending on degree of correction desired. Sculptra is not a filler, such as Juvederm; instead, it causes collagen production to accelerate (it slows as we get older). That acceleration continues for about 6 months, which is the point in time you should see maximum benefit. That effect lasts about two years, but collagen slowly diminishes again. But you don't wait to deflate again. You get a "touch up" every 12-14 months, could be shorter or longer depending on how fast or slow your metabolism runs.
I got Scrulptra for the first time 6 weeks ago, then again one week ago. Once injection site swelling goes down (two days), I could only see a very subtle improvement, barely noticeable. This week (week 8), I'm seeing more improvement, but still subtle. My third treatment will be in about 5 weeks from now, that will mark month 4. I expect to see good progress by then. My cost for two vials is $1,200, so a total of $3,600 for all three treatments. Not cheap, but if I get a reasonably long lasting affect, I'll keep up with the annual maintenance.

I’ve had two treatments (4 vials total). First was 2.5 months ago, second was one month ago. I only see subtle improvements but I was pretty hollow in the temples are lower cheek (36, mother of 4). To see total improvement I think I’ll need another 2 vials. I also paid $1200/treatment of 2 vials. My cheekbones are so prominent which was beautiful when I was younger but awful now with facial wasting. I’m hoping that 6 should do the trick for me.
