Sculptra Miracle, 4 Vials: there aren’t many reviews from men

I was starting to see some volume loss in my face at 34 after having to rebuild my condo after a fire. I also lost ten pounds, and I’m certain it all came from my face. So, I finally decided to do something about it, after doing plenty of research. I decided Sculptra was what I wanted. I just had to find a doctor in Mississippi with the knowledge to use the product. Not many people here use Sculptra. I don’t know anyone that has even had Sculptra.

A co-worker of mine referred me to Dr. Picarella. He was very nice and strait forward. Told me complications, timelines, and benefits. He wanted to make sure Sculptra was a good fit for me and kept stressing it takes a while to see the effects. I was fine with the gradual onset.

I had my Sculptra in one treatment session and had my follow up appointment today. I had sculptra put everywhere in my face that it can be used. It didn’t hurt at all, but I have an extremely high pain tolerance if I know what’s causing it. My doctor and his nurse Lola were really cautious about making sure I was comfortable. They can leave the numbing cream on longer if you don’t want to feel anything. The injections have numbing agents in them also.

I am beyond thrilled with the results. My skin tone even looks better to me. The volume is wonderful. My temples have really filled out, that was the main area I wanted fixed. Only close friends and family can tell the difference. I started noticing a difference after about 2 weeks and then in the forth week it was really working it’s magic.

Side Effects: Were not bad to me. I did have a tingling sensation from the numbing agents until they wore off and there was some mild pain when I did my face massaging (like a sore muscle) I did have bruises on my temples that popped up on day 2, but keep in mind I had a large amount of volume injected there due to the way you have to dilute sculptra. Most people will not get what I got injected there in one dose. I will post a pic of the bruise. I also didn’t take the precautions to avoid certain foods, drinks, and supplements a week before the procedure. The bruise was healed in 5 days after forming. I did use arnica gel after my procedure in the temple areas.

Did you do all 4 vials in one treatment?

Yes

Nice work! I have filler in my temples too. I forget which filler. It is not an area most people think about to fill, but it makes a huge difference!

It really makes a big difference. I may need a little more. My doctor wants to see me again in about 3 months.

Good luck. My filler has lasted at least 18 months so far. I will probably need more within a year or so.

What a difference in your overall facial balance! I have very sunken temples and feel like my face looks like a peanut! I want Sculptra but am afraid of developing lumps. Did you develop any palpable lumps?

I have one tiny one on my temple, but it is hard to fill, and you can’t see it

They lasted around 1 year and probably would have lasted longer if I got another round, but I didn't want to develop any lumps, but overall I was very pleased with the results. The small lump I had is now gone.
