Sculptra nightmare - the bottom of my face is huge and puffy

I am so sorry this happened to you. I can't find it but there was another review that has granulomas and she posts update not to lose hope and all updates she did to help improve. I hope you see improvement and not let it get you too down. So sorry.

I'm very sorry this happened to you, I have a similar story. I had sculptra before and it was good, but later, had horrible results with a different injector. I went to fill light nasal labial lines, but she wanted to inject via my cheeks, insisting it was the 'right' way. As a result, I lost my cheek hollows, and my cheeks puffed out from the sculptra. If that's not bad enough, it caused 2 long lumps, like lines, from the bottom of my cheeks to the cheekbones where she angled the needle. I did the massage 5 X 5 days hoping it would go down. 5 years later, I can still see the 2 lumpy lines, although they are definitely less noticeable, and cheeks are less puffy. I'm following this post in hopes of finding a way to remove the last bit of sculptra. I asked doctors on realself who all say it will dissolve eventually. On the "Victorian Institute" youtube channel, the doctor discovered that hyaluronic acid fillers are permanent, although the manufacturer insists they aren't. So be careful if you're thinking about H.A. filler. He can see the filler in MRIs, shifted to a different part of the face, even 12 years later. They cause under eye bags and jowls, but clients have no idea and think it's natural aging. But in the MRI, he sees it's actually filler that's moved to a different part of the face. He can remove Hyduronic acid filler, so I contacted his office for my sculptra issue, but they told me it doesn't work for sculptra and that sculptra eventually dissolves. There is less swelling 5 years later, but it's still visible. Has there been any improvement with your situation?

How are you now abanning? Please tell me things are better for you. I am dealing with the same issues with sculptra.

keep massaging your face at least 5 times a day for a couple of weeks.....sculptra needs to stand for at least 4 to five days before injection....i leave mine for 8 days before injection so it dissolves properly and no needle clogging.....it sounds like your provider didnt let the sculptra stand for long enough before injection.....i know they say no more than 72 hours to stand but NO in europe we leave for around a week and it gives a better result....keep massaging

ah then i have the answere....the person who injecxted you did not do it properly....u actually need more sculptra, yes u heard right.....u cant just inject the cheeks alone or any other part of the face alone ....the face has to be balanced......the temples need to have sculptra and also the jaw otherwise you will have a plump young cheeks but an older looking temple hollow (peanut head) and a slack older looking jaw.....go to a professioNAL AND SHOW THEM this WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN HERE AND THEY WILL CORRECT THE JOB.....YOU WILL BE LOOKING YOUNGER AND FANTASTIC IN NO TIME WITH A PROPERLY BALANCED FACE

Massaging won’t work. As it’s biofilm. From my experience that had worked and seen massive results. You need 50mg prednisone daily for atleast 3 months. Wean off slowly. That also with kenalog 10 injections every 4-6 weeks. Do those first. If you notice atrophy stop for 6 weeks. Then do a mix of 5/fu & kenalog.

Also DO NOT GET ANY MORE SCULPTRA. YOU have nodules obviously like what I had. I am going to post a before and after photo now after 7 months of treatment.

sorry it didnt work for you iv had temples cheeks jaw and although im 55 i look 35.....this is the reason i love sculptra so much its a gamechanger if done right
