Sculptra - has this happened to you.

Have you had nodules under your skin from sculptra? If anyone else has had this experience, please let me know what your experience has been and treatments you have tried. Were any of the treatments successful? You can send a private email if you feel more comfortable.

I agree sculptra should be taken off the market. It ruined my life. 3 years post treatment and stil problems. Its rubbish.
Hi, I had a vial of Sculptra a few years ago. I would say a few months after I felt a lump under my skin where it was injected. I massaged it a little but mainly just let it be. It wasn't noticeable I could just feel it. It went away shortly after.
You poor thing. It was one thing after another. I’m sorry you had a bad result with Dr jacono. Its often the case that these instanfamous drs are overly confident and that’s when they mess up. Did the lumps get better?
you are supposed to massage 5 times a day for a week.....sculptra is fantastic
I also have these lumps. Started 9 months after injection and have been soreading and growing. I’m now 21 months past the original injections. I’m going to see a plastic surgeon to discuss injections with jenalog and 5 FU. My skin and face look terrible from all the lumps.

Dozens of nodules

I have dozens of lumps. It almost look like my skin has acne scars because the lumps are underneath the skin. Pictures don’t show how many I have but if you feel my skin there are too many to count. I have read where the nodules may never go away. The manufacturer of sculptra, Galderma has no solution or a treatment. I think sculptra should be taken off the market. Please don’t use this it may seem in the first few months but change dramatically later.

I had nodules. They went away. I had a series of 5 vials which completed in November 2018. I turned 51 in August 2018. I had a maintenance vial administered in January 2020. I will be 53 im August 2020.
Did you have the nodules treated with a steroid? How many did you have? How long did it take for them to go away?
I totally agree with you. It should be removed from the market. 0.02% chance of granuloma is too high. Relax so you bring your general inflammation down . I'm sorry they don't give the true side effects in a way that we really know what we are agreeing too. Show us a photo of the worst outcome then it's our fully informed consent

Dozens of Lumps from Sculptra.

I had 3 treatments of sculptra to try and fix a bad facelift by Andrew Jacono the treatments were each a month apart. Everything was ok in the beginning but after about 9 months, I developed dozens of lumps both large and small under my skin. These lumps do not dissolve on their own.

I’ve had steroid injections to soften them but it has not been successful. The manufacturer is aware this happens but has not developed a treatment that works. I would caution against using Sculptra. I don’t think the lumps are as I common as advertised.

Hi I’m very sorry this happened to you. It’s not very clear though in your photo. Is it possible for to upload another photo? And where did you have the treatment done? Have you been refunded?
