So Painful! Not What I Expected at All

So I definitely didn’t get the results I was hoping for. I planned on going in for a second treatment as suggested by the doc, but at $1600+ per treatment I have decide to just cut my losses. I do see a difference, but not one I was hoping for. I’m way more dimpled and lumpy then before the treatment. Does anyone know if this is normal? As I stated yesterday I’m now doing infrared and endermology treatments to try and smooth this out some. Good luck ladies and gents I hope you have less pain and better results.

If you paid for treatment in advance, maybe take a pain reliever before you go to help with the discomfort. Also did they suggest to drink plenty of water before & after the treatment? Plus I hope they had you massage afterwards to help with any lumps and so forth? When having the treatment the highest setting is 1.4, they could turn it down a bit lower. It may make it a tad less painful. Just a few suggestions to help you out. If you search “SculpSure” on RS, you will see other reviews and may find others tips from some RealFriends/members that may help you out. Good luck dear. Hang in there. I can a slight difference. Try to tough out that other session, I think you’d be pleased in the end! Maybe you need another tech? Keep me updated! ❣️❤️❣️
I have read that the lumps should go away. Good luck & keep us posted!
Thanks, I hope you’re right.
Quite welcome! I also read to drink a lot of water and that you can massage the lumps, which are documented to go away eventually but can hang around for months.
Liposuction or smartlipo are probably the only things that would have been given you visible results. Probably a waste of money unfortunately
Unfortunately, I agree with you.
@Drey77 there was a RS user/RealSelf Insider who did her saddlebag area & got little results. I think that area is considered “off label” in SculpSure therefore not receiving dramatic results in the normal areas that it was labeled for. If I can find her profile, I’ll put it in the comments. ❤️
Here is her profile below. https://www.realself.com//review/san-antonio-40-yo-hoping-firm-backside-sculpsure?deeplink=deeplink/review/7264700&utm%5Fsource=iOSApp&utm%5Fmedium=share&utm%5Fcampaign=app-sharing
Thanks, I’ll check it out.
The lumps are inflammation of the tissue. It will take several months for that to dissapear.
Oh wow that looks painful! For just a bit more you could probably just get traditional lipo and far more noticeable results. Keep us posted!

2 week update

I’m two weeks to the day from my saddlebag sculpsure procedure. I’m still quite tender to the touch and my bruising seems to be improving. It still too early to see a difference, but I will updat again.

Was hoping to see an update! Sorry to see such terrible bruising :( It sucks being tender afterwards. Thanks for sharing your journey with us on RS! ❤️

So Painful! Not What I Expected at All

So I went in for my first of two saddlebag treatments 2 days ago. I was told I may feel a little discomfort, but seeing as I have tattoos and children it should be a breeze. Omg that was a lie. At first it was just tingling and I was like ok I can do this. Then it was like needles and then just burning sensation. It was so painful I asked her to stop halfway through so I could take a break. I left the office and could barely sit in my car. The hour drive home was so miserable. Trying to sleep wasn’t any better. I haven’t been able to massage the area because it still hurts so much I can barely touch it. Clothing also hurts so I wore sweats to work yesterday. I have my next treatment scheduled in four weeks and really do not want to continue, but I already paid for it. I really hope I see good results when this whole process is over. I will update after my next treatment.

Sorry it was so painful. It’s different for everyone. I fell asleep during my first treatment. I was told you can sometimes feel slight discomfort on the fat pockets during the hot blasts. Have you seen any results? I had great results from SculpSure. You can read my profile anytime. Good luck sweetie ❤️. I look forward to following your journey.
I will post pics this weekend. Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, I don’t really see a difference. The bruising lasted for an entire month! It was crazy. I’ve started doing infrared treatments, massage, and endermologie. I’m only like 3 weeks in , but I’m hopeful.
It should not have been this painful. They can turn up and down the machine as needed. More pain does not equal better results. My technician explained to me there are four levels 1-4. They want to keep you at a level four, which is moderate pain that you are able to tolerate. If your pain is only a level one they should bump the machine up, until you reach a level for intensity. If your pain is too high they should bump it down. Your technician should’ve turn the adjustments on the machine down, to reach a level that is moderately painful yet tolerable.
I’m not sure what she set it to, but when I was crying and I’m so much pain she did let me take a 2 minute break and give me ice. She then went right back in and said the pain is a good sign. It means it’s working. She also said the same thing about the bruising. Either way, I didn’t see a difference so I never went back. No way was I enduring that much pain for so little in return.
Hi there, just reading your review and I completely relate to the pain! I had the same areas treated and I barely could get through it. My tech turned it down for me and got me ice but it was still very difficult for me. I have read others who got saddlebag areas or inner thighs and they report the same intense pain. I had a lot of swelling after and it took a lot for me to go back for a second treatment. The second time I had a different tech who kept it at full strength but also blasted the area with cool air from another device and it helped a lot! Same amount of swelling and tenderness after but a little easier to get through. I am almost a year out from the procedure and I can see more on my left side where the fat was destroyed so it worked but it’s not smooth like I’d hoped. It’s almost a rectangle dent? I am not sure what I’d try next. I think this is just how my body is :) I need to post an update on my review with pics. Just wanted you to know you are not alone!
I had 2 treatments on my stomach area. During the time from the first picture until the last I had lost 15 lbs. I am now at my normal weight. However I still have a pouch stomach. Should have done lipo
