SculpSure Review
ORIGINAL POST
Sculpsure
$6,500
Years ago I tried Cool Sculpting. I treated my arms, inner thighs, love handles, and abdomen. I got great results on my love handles. The rest of the areas were subtle results (that I could only really notice by looking at before/after pics) and I had between 2-3 treatments per area. The treatment was kinda painful (but not terrible) and I was left with pretty solid bruising and numbness that stuck around for about 3 weeks or so.
Post babies, I have been working like crazy to get my body back in shape....but I’m almost 40 so it’s significantly harder than it used to be. I also had twins so that makes it even more difficult. I was considering scheduling more Cool Sculpting treatments when I read about Sculpsure on Real Self. The results seemed comparable but the reviews made it sound less painful during/after treatments. And since I’ve already tried freezing fat, now I’m curious about melting fat.
During my first visit, I treated my love handles and abdomen. It was a breeze. There were moments of deep heat but none of it bothered me at all. Post treatment I had no bruising or numbness so the experience was significantly better than Cool Sculpting.
Fast forward one week to my second visit. My inner thighs. This was really uncomfortable. There were times it would reach my max pain tolerance. It goes through heat cycles, so just when you think you can’t take anymore it changes into a cooling cycle and immediately feels better. But it’s a good 25 minutes of pain/relief/pain/relief.
My provider mentioned it could have something to do with the thickness of the skin that determines your level of pain. Inner thighs usually have thinner skin than abdomens. She said her arm patients report the highest pain levels.
It has been two weeks since my abdomen/flanks treatment (one week since my thighs). I had zero lasting discomfort from my abdomen and very mild discomfort from my inner thighs. They are slightly tender when massaged/touched but not so bothersome that they are uncomfortable when I walk/jog.
I have appointments scheduled in 6/7 weeks for my second treatments. I’ll try to remember to post some progress photos so we can all see if it is working. But keep in mind, they claim you are still losing fat cells for up to 3 months. So my progress pics won’t be the full end result of one treatment.

Round 2: Abs & Flanks
Today is 5 weeks post first treatment of the abs and flanks.
I’m posting progress photos, but keep in mind that full results from one treatment are not expected until 12 weeks, so this is midterm progress.
The second treatment of my abdomen was similar to my first. Very tolerable. The most uncomfortable I felt was about a 6 or 7/10 and those moments were few and brief.
I then treated my left flank. The experience couldn’t have been more polar. It was excruciating. 9 and 10/10 for almost the whole 25 minutes. Very few moments of relief. It was absolute torture and my whole body was trembling from the pain the whole back half of the treatment. It was pure vanity that kept me there to do my other flank and finish my treatment.
Shockingly, my right flank was similar to my abdomen. Super comfortable. Very few moments of mild discomfort that barely bothered me at all. I can’t imagine why one side was so dramatically different than the other. I was originally told that discrepancies of pain could have something to do with skin thickness or the amount of fat in the area, but my skin/fat quality is the same on both sides, so there has to be much more to this story.
I’ll be treating my inner thighs again in 2 weeks. I’ll report more then.

I found my flanks to be unbearable, as well. Thighs were mediocre on the pain scale. That was about two years ago and wasn't sure I could go through it again, so I never went back.

Do you have before/after for the inner thighs? Its my challenge, and I've done UltraShape and 2 liposuctions over it. But still trying to find a solution to both get rid of fat and tighten it up. Seems like Sculpsure works wonders over the belly, but were there any results on inner thighs?

I am assuming that all your pictures are "post" sculpsure procedure? Can you post some before pictures so we can see the difference? Was it was worth the money. I am considering it over Coolsculpting to rid myself of a little belly fat that is resistant to working out and yoga.
