Permanant choking sensation-lower facelift, eyebrow lift did nothing. Very unhappy with result- read carefully

4 years later I suffer from the same problems I had previously. I scheduled an appt with Dr. Holden like his patients suggested & 15 mins before my appt, his office called cancelling it & saying he had a family emergency. The staff LIED.... I asked to be rescheduled & he refused after he knew it was me. Dr. Holden should have the decency to see his patient. Most procedures go well but when it doesnt Dr Holden should honor his medical creed & give his patient an honest answer of what went wrong. This is not a cosmetic issue this is a medical issue or direct me where I can go for help.

I never tried to sue him and the Statute of Limitations is long gone. I never asked for my money back. I only have asked for HONEST answers of what went wrong & if there is anything that can be done to help me. I am scared to be worse off so I have done nothing.

I continue to wait for Doctor Holden to care about his patient who is suffering due to his mistake & do the right thing. Mistakes happen as medicine is unpredictable, but Dr. Holden should have the decency to help his patient. I will update this commentary if Dr Holden or Dr. Ryan B. Tsujimura reach out to me to try and help like his patients seem to think he will. His patients told me to contact him. I listened to them & Dr. Holden refused.

I will find the receipt & update this post as well as this new verification wasn't present before from what I recall. Dr. Holden I did nothing wrong other than wanting to look refreshed & trusted my medical care into your hands.

I referred another patient to Dr. Holden before I knew of this complication & she had no problems. Dr. Holden has charged us close to $40,000 & he can't give me 5 minutes of his time to explain. It is disgraceful to provide no accountablity to a patient or even care that a patient is suffering because of a mistake Dr. Holden made.

I will contact the office again after Covid to see if Dr Holden desires to help me & update this review.

I am incredibly disappointed in the outcome of my surgery after spending over $16,000. My ears, jawline and neck have a weird & tight sensation a year and half later that I am conscious about on a daily basis. My neck it feels like someone is holding me tight and a choking sensation. Under my jaw line is hanging loose skin.
Do I look younger-no I do not. I look pretty much the same.. not a single person noticed not even my own family (which the doctor would call a good result because it's natural). Not one person even said you look well-rested...which you hope someone would say something... I don't even look 2-4 years younger...I was attractive before the surgery so I still am...just still look tired and a saggy neck which is what I wanted to improve.
I had a lower & mid level facelift and eye brow lift. Do I look deformed no but I am left with PERMANENT NUMBNESS IN MY EAR as he hit some nerve, CHOKING SENSATION in my neck. I can't wear earrings anymore because my ears feel so incredibly strange that I can't stand wearing them.
The tightness in my throat and neck I hope goes away one day but I have little hope it will. His bedside manner was ok and his staff are fair...one lady was exceptionally nice but unfortunately I forget her name...
I certainly don't look like I had any cosmetic work done or the over-done cosmetic work...I just look virtually the same, but what is most disturbing are these terrible sensations in my neck and ears.
I sincerely doubt this physician even cares about the outcome or how I physically feel.... I told him.. a year ago....not much of a response except to wait...well I have and there is no change.
My neck is still red one and half years later and I have since found out he could have made that better for me. It still remains.. I haven't explored my options yet because I am not deformed...just a very unhappy patient with the result.
I am left with permanent physical problems and virtually no improvement. The "chicken neck" we ladies over 50 hate...I still have...all I can do is share my story and hope someone thinks about other options before going to this doctor for their surgery needs .
Is he skilled...he didn't ruin me but did he make a mistake on me absolutely yes he did and do I regret the surgery 100% yes I do. All I can do is warn others to think seriously before going under the knife.
