I think you have done well. Keep thinking positive thoughts, and if you still have any doubts, go back to the Surgeon for a second opinion on any concerns. It will be worth it. Your title 'scared to death' made me think. Yes we are all scared at some point of the journey for the following reasons:- Have I made the right decision, do I really want to do this, Have I chosen the right Surgeon, Will I be able to cope with the recovery period, Can I muster a support network to help me through it, What if something goes wrong, What if it doesn't turn out the way I imagine it would look. Each of these questions are valid when starting out on the process. Analyse your own position and if you can say 'YES' to each concern in turn, move on and be happy that you have done everything you could to allay these fears, then trust the Professionals to do their job (which they have done countless times.) 12months on, and been through the experience, please pass on your thoughts on your concerns to assist others just starting out. The whole RS Community are hear to help, and personally, although I will never meet anyone who has supported me, I feel that my journey will be the better for their interest and suggestions. Keep up the good work and 'Love and Live Life'.

I'm not happy. My Dr chose not to do implants when he did MG life.
I look like a saggy lopsided boy.

Review

My surgery went fine. I have had some complications that my Dr says are normal for someone of my size. I still have an unhealed place on my abdomen that just doesn't seem to want to give up. I have to pack it twice a day. I think I look a lot better. I know I feel a lot better, size wise. I am ready to be in non-baggy clothes :) . I think for the most part is has been worth it ,
