Rhinoplasty for Wide, Amorphous Nose

Finding a plastic surgeon is time-consuming and anxiety-provoking so I am leaving this review in hopes of minimizing that experience for others! I underwent a rhinoplasty to narrow the width of my nose and add definition to the overall shape. I am so thankful that I chose Dr. Shapiro for my surgery! Dr. Shapiro and his staff did an amazing job throughout the entire process. Due to the fact that both preparing for and following up after a rhinoplasty requires a lot of appointments, it is important that you like both the plastic surgeon him/herself and those who work along side him/her. Dr. Shapiro is everything I find important in a plastic surgeon: attentive to detail, realistic regarding results, very experienced with rhinoplasties, board certified, and overall a genuinely nice person who cares about his patients and their opinions regarding their postoperative outcomes. His staff is also exceptional and consistently welcomed me like a friend at each appointment. Overall I am very pleased with my rhinoplasty results; I am only a month and a half out from my rhinoplasty so I still have some residual swelling but I am thrilled with the results so far. I actually cringe when I see old pictures of myself because I so thoroughly love my new nose and can't believe it ever looked different than it currently does. My new nose looks so natural that even I forget sometimes it isn't the nose I was born with! If I had to do it all over I would 100% choose Dr. Shapiro again!
