My Breast Lift/augmentation Nightmare
Where do I start .. When I first met this Dr. I thought I was in good hands and she would be the best choice for my mommy makeover procedure but boy was I wrong !! First she never discussed breast sizes or had me try on any sizers however I did have implants that were 425cc moderate profiles that I wanted exchanged to silicone. I also sent her pictures of what I wanted to look like and I specifically told her I wanted to remain a DD. After surgery I realized both my nipples were turning black from my breast lift/exchange of implants. When I went in to see her she poked my nipples with a needle and since they did produce blood she told me it was just bruising and it was normally. Over the next 2 weeks my nipples were getting worse and not better and they started to dry and separate from my breast. I ended up getting a staph infection in my left breast which landed me in the hospital for 4 days and on 2 antibiotic IV drops and ultimately I had to have my left implant removed. Once I was released from the hospital I looked into a wound clinic and my Dr at the wound clinic had me do hyperbaric oxygen treatments to try and save my right breast and both my nipples. Every day I had to do oxygen treatments for an hour and a half. My wound care doctor realized that my breasts were struggling to heal and he asked me what size implants did Dr Daiza end up using on me and I went from 425cc moderate profile to her choosing to use 695cc High Profile. My wound care doctor asked why she went that big when doing a breast lift since there was less skin he stated she should have kept it around the same size of what I originally had. He also instructed Dr Daiza to remove my right implant because it was too big and my breast was under too much tension and pressure and would not be able to heal. So after paying her over 21,000 for a tummy tuck/breast lift and exchange of my implants I ended up still without my implants. I then asked Dr. Daiza if she would be doing my revision for free and was informed NO and she wanted to charge me another 6000.00 to fix and give me what I originally paid for. Since Dr. Daiza did not know anything about wound care she did not direct me to a wound clinic sooner therefore I ended up going through this hell for over 4 months and have decided to go with another plastic surgeon who is also charging me the same amount as Dr Daiza wanted to charge me to redo my augmentation. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND HER FOR ANY BREAST SURGERIES and I wish I hadn't used her for mine !!!
