Two weeks out!
Dressings off, which were really irritating my skin. I ended up with blistering on the sides of my breast which is a reaction from the adhesive. They healed quickly, and just treating the itching that's not near my incision sites.
My breasts look AMAZING! Dr. Admire had some serious work to do, I had asymmetry from a previous lumpectomy, sagging, my request for smaller nipples, etc. He did an outstanding job. I just stare at them all day, wondering how the heck he made that happen! I went to several surgeons before choosing Admire, and his suggestions (using two separate size implants for symmetry with the lift on both sides) scared me the most because NONE of the other surgeons suggested that. I kept picturing the obvious difference in implant size. However, I just had a feeling he was the one I should trust anyway and turns out I was right.
Tummy tuck looks great. I was walking upright after 3 days, off all pain killers by day 4, and going about life cautiously but normally by day 7. Recovery was not as bad as I had heard, but I definitely needed my moms help the first 4 days or I would have not made it.
The scars everywhere don't look angry yet, I know that will come though. I'm still swollen in the abdomen, bruising was minimal and only on my left side oddly enough.
I've ordered silicone dressings, and will use those after I see Dr. Admire again and he gives me the go ahead.
I will post pictures here in the morning, just wanted to give an update on how pleased I am.

Figured I would start journaling my experience now. This site has been so helpful in knowing what to expect before and after surgery.
I am extremely nervous, but so excited. I am an RN so my work is very physical and I'm nervous about whether I received enough time off to recover. I tend to bounce back pretty quickly and easily with past operations (C-sections, sinus surgery, partial mastectomy) so I am hoping I can get back to my old self sooner than later.
I have a trip to Hawaii in March with a group of friends so this will definitely give me the courage to get in a bikini!
