IPL totally worked for the residual red staining!
WORTH IT$11,000
I only needed to do the IPL to my butt cheeks one time, and voila! All gone.

Just had IPL to my butt cheeks to eradicate blotchy red staining...
So far I see ZERO difference but I think it's going to take a series of IPL, not just one time. Keep you posted...

Thanks for your updates. I have also ugly cellulite and was thinking of doing this procedure but I'm shocked the recovery time is so long! Was it painful all this time? Thanks

Lilysun I think everyone has very different experiences. I am someone that is now 6 weeks out. Hardly any discoloration and feel no need to wear the compression. I can already see amazing results. That having been said I think Doctor selection is the number one priority here. I went to Dr.Dibernardo who runs the clinical trials and has been doing this procedure weekly for years. I think these other doctors are not used to it or rarely do it and then we keep reading horror stories. Check out my review going to keep updating. I will upload at 2/3/6 and 1 year. Good luck PM if any other questions. I know I was researching obsessed as well.

It wasn't painful. Have you also checked into Cellfina? I don't know if it's better or about the same as Cellulaze. It wasn't available back when I had the Cellulaze procedure. Not sure which I would have chosen but today it's nice to have more than one option.

I just kept thinking it would eventually resolve, but it didn't. Here are some photos so you can see what the discoloration looks like...

Hey did you try the IPL? I just had my done 2 weeks ago and the bruising is gone but deep redness where "new collagen" is forming seems present. Did you have this, wondering if that a predictor of permanent staining to come. Seem other people didn't have the vascular response at all once purple bruises faded.
Let me know how IPL worked and other light therapy.

I was also thinking that you could try laser to improve the discoloration. Have you spoken to the doctor who performed cellulaze in the first place?
Maybe he can do something about it, without charging you.
Good luck.

I was just going to suggest some self tanner! And all natural one would be best and when that is gradual. A professional spray tan has always washed off of me... So I wasn’t going to suggest one of those but some really good high-quality self tanner would be awesome.

I’m going through the same thing. I had cellulaze a little over a year ago, and the discoloration I’m left with is so bad, I wish I had never done it at all. It DID get rid of my cellulite, but the discoloration is so much worse than cellulite was. I’ve already done months and months of bleaching cream, minimal improvement at best. Really disheartening. I’m going in next week to try BBL laser treatment. I believe it will take a series of treatments spaced about a month apart. My fingers are crossed that this works!!! I just want to wear shorts or a bathing suit this summer without feeling self conscious.

"About five years ago, I tried to improve the back of my thighs with Cellulaze. It looked great for the first 18 months, but then it was back to where I started (and a total waste of $7,000)."
So I'm confused. Was the cellulaze a waste of time? Did it improve at all? If so, To what degree? Thank you.
