I have been a patient of Dr. Gary McCracken, (my dermatologist) for several years. When he added Dr. Clay Forsberg, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon on to his practice I was intrigued. Anyone Dr. McCracken would have on board, I knew I would be in good hands. The first encounter I had with Dr. Forsberg and his staff was at an event in the office. It was fun, educational, enlightening and they had treats and gave away some very nice prizes! (I didn't win one that day), but what I came away with was an appreciation of Dr. Forsberg's upfront honest approach about his field. He came across with a sincere passion about his work. He explained various procedures. He talked about the procedures as if he were explaining them to each individual in the room. He made a point to talk about individual needs that were right one, but maybe not for another and not over doing. He wanted the point of looking natural or rested to come across. For example, having a friend see you a few weeks later noticing how good you look but not having a clue you had "work done".
I made the decision to go for it and set the appointment. He explained the process, the down time and made sure I understood everything. I took 3 weeks off of work just to be sure, but within 2 weeks with a little touch up make-up- I could have gone back to work without anyone noticing. By the 3rd week I was wearing light make up and by the end of a month I could go back to wearing my regular regime. But, the BEST part about it was that I found I no longer needed to where much eye make up because I love the refreshed look Dr. Forsberg created for me! I'm a flight attendant and the less time getting ready, the better. (I get more sleep). A little eyeliner, a little mascara and I'm good to go. Sometimes, I even skip the eyeliner!
I'd also like to add that Ali (Dr. Forsberg's assistant and I'm not sure that is her correct title) is amazing. She suggested creams and cover-ups, always made sure I was informed at each appointment and always made me feel like I was the most important person there! Which she does with everyone.
I am so pleased with my procedure that I'm saving up for the next one sometime next year. I have some prep work that Dr. Forsberg has required of me and he will not do the procedure until I fulfil my end of the obligation. That's just how professional he is.
