How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Update
Brushing is still bad and oddly enough my pain has increased in the past few days.
I have my one week post op tomorrow.

My genes have factored into my varicose veins. My grandmother, father and aunts have all had surgery on their varicose veins.
Because my veins are faulty, insurance covered the procedure and I was left with a minimal payment of $330.
The procedure was interesting to observe as you are awake throughout with local anesthesia being administered before treatment. I was surprised at how many injections were required along the vein and finally stopped counting. If you are afraid of needles, a sedative might be necessary as it surpassed 30 injections for myself. I don't mind needles, so it was tolerable.
The laser did hurt at one point, which I alerted the doctor of and he injected more local anesthesia.
Oddly enough, the most pain I felt was about an hour after the surgery was complete. This was concerning to me, as the doctor said that the local anesthesia wears off in 5 hours. Luckily, the worst of the pain was in the initial hours following the surgery. Strange....but I'll count my blessings.
Not being able to shower and wearing compression stockings in 100* weather is annoying. I'm also deeply missing my daily yoga and exercise routine. I'm only allowed to walk 30 minutes twice a day.
I'd love a good stretch at this point!
