Well it’s been 6 years now since my MM & hernia removal. I’ve since had my gallbladder removed along with a ginormous gallstone. I was going religiously to my follow ups once a year but missed the last 2 due to other responsibilities. I’m also now divorced from the man I was marrying when I had this done. Great thing is I’ve met and been with another guy for over a year now. He’s truly amazing!!

Still a bit of midsection swelling...

Although I still have some swelling along my middle, I am 3 lbs away from my preop weight and 5 away from where I wanna be. My 2nd fitting is 1 week from today. Iv lost 2 inches around my waist and am loving my results. I'm only 3 weeks along, so it can only get better. Going for a canoe and camping trip w my fiancé and his buddies from work tomorrow..it's gonna be a blast! Went to VS and bought some super cute suits. I'll take some pics and post them. Here are my updated photos..

Everything looks great and your scar is amazing. Looks like it's been a year of healing already. Your waist looks tiny your fitting will go great! Congrats! I'm happy for you.
I am going to start dress shopping next week. I am waiting because I have a large fluid build up above the Tt incision. It sticks out like a pooch and is so annoying. I see my surgeon every week. Yesterday he attempted to drain it but nothing would come out. Not sure why. He said, just have to wait it out. Last night my incision was bleeding tho so it seems like a million years until I'll heal. Trying not to get discouraged. I look forward to not weAring this cG in this heat wave we are having in Bc. (Getting full torso heat rash) And the tension bandage for the boobs.

Thanks for the compliments. I too have 'something' going on at the end of my TT on the right side. Posted that I thought it might be 'dog ears', but the dr's comments said I need to wait until I am 6 months to really know. Its actually gone down since I posted the picture and concern, but still sticks out.. actually kinda does on my left too. I am hoping it does go away b/c I am not able to wear my panties or anything really that is super low b/c of it. Other than that tho, I am really happy with my new look. And, being only 3 weeks 'new'...it can only get better. I no longer have to wear my CG..stopped last week. Yes, rash..I agree..the CG totally irritated my skin. My PO bra did too..thats why I now have a 2nd scar under my left boob b/c of a blister forming and popping. Ugh.. but all is well and will be ok. I am using biocorneum on my scars. My PS said its like $150/bottle but my first one is free :) I hope all begins to get better for you kde05. Stay positive and try to be patient with the healing process. Not everyone is the same. It was hard for me to follow this rule and I got upset alot in the first week-week 1/2, but now..I know things can only get better and I am sooo looking forward to my pool party bridal shower next weekend and my wedding!!
