Yay your on the other side!
Hope day one if passing with minor discomfort
I am 5 weeks out. Best advise I can think of is to
Rest-rest-rest, drink lots of water, eat light don’t drink, don’t smoke and prop yourself up always for weeks...
stay dry, sponge bath and keep arms to sides follow doc orders and breath... good luck

I’m going into a year and half since my surgery . It is the best thing I could have ever done . I can finally fit normal size bras and they are perfect for my small frame .

Signed all my consent forms today! Feeling pretty good about having breast reduction surgery. Dr Goldschmidt went over everything with me and was very thorough by covering the possible risk and outcomes. I’m confident that this will be a great outcome with less baggage......lol. Looking forward to smaller breast and no more shoulder, neck and back pain.

How are u preparing like what bras and items have u purchased? What kind of incision are u having and will you have drains?

I am super excited to finally have this breast reduction, I’ve purchased a big u pillow, sports bras, scar away, Bromelain supplements for faster healing and iron pills recommended by my surgeon. I will have a nipple graft with anchor incisions. I’m hoping that the nipple graft takes.....May lose sensation and discoloration but it’s not a deal breaker as I need relief from the neck and shoulder pain. Tell me about your preparations for your procedure. Are you nervous at all? Thanks for comments and I look forward to following your journey as well!

I have a section with recliners so that’s where I plan to camp out initially. My bed is very high up and I hear recliners are preferred anyways. I’ve seen some ladies suggest arnica, vitamin C, laxatives, silicon strips, neck pillow, various scar creams, neosporin, ice packs, and lozenges. That’s my list along with button up tops and front closure sports bras. My surgeon plans to use the anchor incision as well. I am excited and nervous also. Just trying to get in the best possible shape before surgery!

My doc said no ice no heat. Tissue is healing no massage until doctor says ok. Good luck

I’m on my way to the surgery center for my BR procedure. Can’t wait to become a part of the itty bitty [RS bleep] committee. I will post after pictures so keep me in your prayers. Thank you.
