41 Yr Old Wife & Mom of 1 in Need of Her SEXY Back...Lipo on Ab ONLY - Schaumburg, IL

I’m a 41 yr old married woman with a HS senior. I love myself and have enough self-esteem to fill a stadium. HOWEVER, I wanted my SEXY back…for ME!!!
With that being said, one night I decided to look into liposuction and a half hour later I’d made my decision to get it AND had a couple of consultation apts.
When I went for my consultation, the office suggested I get a TT. Now I know I said I wanted my sexy back but I also said I’m 41 yrs old. I’m not trying to be bikini sexy. Since I’m married I explained I only wanted to be “clothes on sexy”. They then suggested I get lipo on my ab, love handles, and bra pads. That was TOO drastic for someone new to the whole lipo concept. I just wanted a smaller stomach...geeezzzzz! I walked out with my procedure scheduled for Oct 31st for lipo on my upper and lower abdominal sections. (I regret that decision now)
After leaving the office I started thinking if I’d made the right decision and Buyer’s Remorse set in…Would I look awkward with only a small stomach? Will my bra pad and love handle sections make me off centered? Would the lipo on my stomach even be noticeable without the love handles and bra pads done? So, I called the office and expressed my concerns. They assured me that MANY ppl have gotten only the stomach done & they saw a noticeable difference.
On Oct 31, 2014 I had upper & lower abdominal lipo at Lift Body in Schaumburg, IL. I was so excited. It was very painful but I felt it was so worth it. Like they say: No pain…No gain (or in this case no pain no loss).
One week after the procedure I completely forgot about my limitations and went bowling with the fam. OMG!!! What was I thinking. I had 2 days of excruciating PAIN! When I went back for a follow-up 2 days later my PP told me I was extremely swollen and I'd set myself back a couple of weeks.
Now, I’m 5 weeks post-procedure and I’m FINALLY starting to see a noticeable change. I’m still swollen in some areas but when I go to see my PP next week I’m hoping to hear “You’re not done losing. “
I will say, I wish I’d come across this website BEFORE my procedure. If I had, I would have opted to go with all three sections at once. I still have the fear of looking weird with a small stomach between the huge hips and over flowing back-fat. LBVS!!!
I’ll keep you guys posted.

Thank you so much for your review, I am also interested in this procedure. What kind of compression are you using? Did they tell you how much was removed? What type of anesthesia was used? Thanks again and congrats!
Hi StillSouthern! I wore a foam compression under my garment for a week. I wore the compression garment for 24/7 for 2 weeks. Now I'm wearing it for 12 hrs at night. I had water lipo so no anesthesia was used. I don't know how much fat was removed. That's on my list of questions for my next visit.
Hey nicki ,
I'm thinking about going to dr . Parisi as well for the water lipo surgery abdomen and love handles my biggest question is that are you happy with your results and
Are you steady seeing an improvement of your body let us know I'm very interested and I would like to know more about him is he kind totalist what type of doctor he is, thank you
YES! I am happy with my results and I would recommend Dr. Parisi. I looked at myself in the mirror this morning and my stomach has gone done even more. I still feel swelling but I know once the swelling dissipates completely my stomach will be even smaller.
My advice...move forward with the office's recommended procedures. The office recommended I get all three areas done at the same time. Being new to lipo, I opted for just my abdomen. I'm not seeing a desired result because I didn't get my love handles done at the same time. That's on the agenda for 2015.

Definitely keep us posted! I can see a change in your before pics and your 5 week pics. Let us know if your doctor thinks you are still swelling. Thanks for sharing on RealSelf.
