I had a lump of scar tissue and five birthmarks removed from the back of my head.

I had several marketplace interactions with this business in January of 2019. This review is strictly to inform others of my experience so that they can make a wiser choice regarding their healthcare. Subsequent to my failed procedure and out of retribution for negative reviews and a complaint that I made across multiple sites (including the Colorado Medical Board), Denis Gonyon falsified two temporary restraining order request forms in Loveland (both denied) and is listed as a victim (along with Jennifer Vicknair) on a police report claiming harassment in Johnstown (dismissed due to lack of sufficient evidence). Gonyon chose March 28 and 29 as dates to base his claims because on March 27, I reviewed a business in Nevada on Yelp. March 30 fell on Saturday. The business is not open during weekends. Gonyon was using my Yelp reviews as a timeline to base his claims. Claims made in the restraining order form contradict those made in the harassment report. The court transcripts of testimony conflict with the reports (I also have receipts and photos of my iPhone's GPS location indicating my whereabouts regarding their false allegations). All claims and requests made by Gonyon and his staff (Olivia Whalen, Jennifer Vicknair, Jennifer Schmidt, Rachel Morales, etc.) to the courts were dismissed due to lack of sufficient evidence.

61-pages containing 5 reports, documents, and evidence detailing how the allegations were falsified were submitted to the following recipients requesting for charges to be filed for the false reporting:

Johnstown Municipal Court
Johnstown Police Department
Johnstown Police Chief
Johnstown Mayor
District Attorney’s Office (Larimer County)
District Attorney’s Office (Weld County)

After reviewing the evidence, a sergeant with the Professional Standards Unit of the Loveland Police Department stated that she believed there was enough evidence to charge the plaintiffs with perjury (I can provide email) and met with the police chief. The chief stated that an investigation would take place and charges would be filed at the request of the courts. It does not appear that the courts have requested an investigation as of current, however, the plaintiff’s actions have been documented in the event that this behavior persists. The disciplinary actions against Gonyon (viewable on the Colorado Medical Board website) are of no surprise.

During the court proceedings, Gonyon and coworkers maliciously used my military service against.

If person A sends person B an email, person B can then immediately send themself an email and make it appear to be an email from person A. Also, anyone can duplicate an account and make it appear to be legitimate. This is exactly what Gonyon and other employees of the business did.

This business reports most negative reviews (I have discussed this with several others), leaving only a small percentage to appear legitimate. This is why they have a positive overall rating. I can provide proof that I was a patient if needed. Again, this review is strictly to inform others of my experience so that they can make a wiser choice regarding their healthcare.

I had a lump of scar tissue and five birthmarks removed from the back of my head. Prior to the procedure, Dr. Gonyon was very adamant that the hair would grow back. He repeated this multiple times. I went in for a check up a couple weeks later and was told the hair would grow back in 4 to 6 weeks. Then, several weeks later, Gonyon told me that he was "very confident" the hair would return. After emailing and speaking telephonically with two of the employees, I was told, “in most cases the hair will grow back.” As a side note, I noticed several instances of staff members being incompetent. The nurse, Olivia Whalen, stopped responding to my emails almost from day 1 after they realized they had screwed up. She also called the scar tissue on my head “breast tissue.” These people are truly not the sharpest.

Nothing Dr. Gonyon said was true and now I am left with a giant nasty looking bald spot on the back of my head (and not all of the scar tissue was removed). Furthermore, the moles that were removed were not simply shaved off with the scalpel like they were during past successful removals. An incision was made and they were removed from the inside and then stapled shut, leaving me with more bald spots on my head. I did not agree to this method and did not realize it was the method used until too late. Words are not enough to describe what I have been going through.



Do not go here even if your life depends on it! Don’t believe anything that Dr. Gonyon or his incompetent staff write in reply to my review.
