Thanks for sharing your journey! I’m also using Embrace. You look fantastic! Your tt incision is nice and low; and I’m sure you’ll have a great result with the embrace scar therapy. I look forward to following your progress.... :-)

I’m using it for my breast lift scars. I think it’s going pretty well, but it’s been trial and error with the lessons learned along the way; not to mention scar therapy is a long-term process. If you want to see my review click on my profile name and scroll down the list to see my “Embrace Scar therapy...” review. Talk later.

Hi there, You may want to try rubbing a little Benadryl cream near the edges. An oral anti-histamine may also be helpful. I have other tips for dealing with Embrace with sensitive skin in my Embrace review. Even if you don’t have sensitive skin the embrace active scar defense (tension device) can cause irritation from the pulling/shearing of the skin along the edges of the tape. I actually reduce the tension a bit by not folding the applicator back 180° when applying. See the first update my embrace review for more details. Good luck.

Thanks for posting this! I’m following along to see how it goes for you. I just started star therapy at three weeks postop. My doctor said to just get the silicone strips you can buy at any drugstore, but they have to be peeled off before shower and then replaced. They’re sticking well and working well so far, but it would be nice to put on something that I could shower with and leave for a little bit and not have to worry about. so I just ordered the Embrace strips and will start using them when they come in next week.
