frustrating, she destroyed my areolas
My experience with Dr. Cala was extremely disappointing.
I traveled from the United States specifically to have a scar revision procedure on my areolas. I paid for the surgery, travel, accommodations, and all of the expenses involved because I trusted her experience and reputation.
Unfortunately, I left the procedure feeling that the result was significantly worse than what I had before. The outcome was extremely upsetting and, in my opinion, a complete surgical disaster. It is very difficult for me to understand how a result like this could have happened given the level of experience and expertise I believed I was placing my trust in.
Dr. Cala offered to perform another procedure to try to correct the result. However, after this experience, I would not feel comfortable putting myself in her hands again. I believe I need to find another qualified doctor who can evaluate my situation and determine the best way to correct what was done.
I therefore requested a refund so that I could, at a later time, seek another surgeon. Unfortunately, my requests for a refund have been ignored, and I have not received a satisfactory response or resolution.
What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I traveled internationally, invested a significant amount of money, and trusted this doctor expecting a result consistent with the level of expertise she represents.
I am sharing my experience because I believe patients considering traveling for a procedure should be aware of what happened to me and should carefully consider all of their options before making such an important decision.
