Devastated - the scar was much larger in every way than before

I gave this a year to write this review. Having had plastic surgery before, I know the body takes awhile to heal and I wanted to give myself a full year before writing this review. I went in to LP plastic surgeons in May 2021 looking to improve a liposuction site scar on my inner thigh. I simply wanted the pea sized raised scar to lay flat and be revised to a slit of any size. Dr Jones charged me 3500$ to revise the scar and cut a small amount of fat left behind. Immediately after the surgery I was in pain and once the dressings came off, I noticed the scar was much larger in every way than before. I had stitches popping out of the scar site for months and months and contacted dr Jones office to complain about the scar being larger and the nurse who spoke with me said that is NORMAL to expect. Why on earth would anyone go in to get a scar revised to be less obvious expect to have a larger scar after they heal!!? My experience here was absolutely awful and I am devastated at my results.
