Keloid chest excision

WORTH IT
I decided to get my chest keloid excised for the 2nd time. So far I am satisfied with the results but I hope it gets to look better over time. I got the keloid when I was about 16 (I am now 28). It started as a very small pimple that I popped and overtime it got bigger and bigger. Every once in aWhile I would get steroid injections but never stayed consistent. It bean to grow and grow and we very painful. At the age of 25 I decided to get it excised by a plastic surgeon with continuous steroid injections. The results were amazing for about a month but the keloid came back and slightly bigger (see pic). I decided to try again to get the keloid excised by a plastic surgeon but this time with radiation (4 sessions). I do monthly go for steroid injections. So l far I am happy with the results. The radiation did burn my skin around the keloid :(, but that will go away over time. The keloid is flat and I am pain free. As you see in the pic the excision must be longer then the keloid itself to allow proper stitching.
