Here are the results after my 4th treatment. This is 8 days after and my first wash with baby shampoo. There are some darker than normal areas but I assuming this is because I lightly washed. I’m super happy with the results so far. I had to use a darker than normal ink because the lighter would disappear from having a great immune system. I plan on one more treatment and will focus on the front. Super happy. Instead of all that crazy hair concealer I’m literally using batiste dry shampoo with a hint of color ... works amazing and makes my hair look full. I can go swimming now!

So frustratingly it took 2 treatments to figure out my body has the immune system of the Gods because it seems to be clearing the pigment within 10 days of treatment so there is nothing left. i read this can happen with some peoples. The provider seems well trained and was trained by one of the masters in NYC so I don’t think it’s error on his part but im tired of these treatments. The biggest problem is not getting your head wet for 5 days and Tun only shampooing with baby shampoo after 10. ( I waited longer than suggested) I also can’t go to the gym for 2 weeks after each treatment. After consulting with whoever he trained with we tried various sized needles and eventually changed the color to black as a test. I cover my bald spot in fibers anyway so I was not concerned with this looking bad. It faded fast but we are going to give it one more shot and go heavier in density. From the pictures you can see what it looks like after the first hour(amazing) then after first wash. (I don’t scrub my head so There is a little of my hair fibers I use to cover my bald spot that make it look dirty) finally the 3rd picture is 2 weeks after.

The process of moving pigments into the upper dermis once the needles are placed there, is not an exact process. It depends upon many factors, such as (a) needle reciprocating speed, (b) the size of the needles, (c) the viscosity of the pigment which dictates the surface properties of the pigments, and (d) time the needles are left in the upper dermis. These needles create ‘holes’ or tracts in the epidermis that remain open one to three days before sealing (the inks leak out during this period or the immune system effectively removes the pigment) . If the patient uses a shampoo before these holes seal, the detergent action of the shampoo can enter these holes and disperse the pigments in the upper dermis, changing the size, shape and depth of the tattoo pigments. Shampooing or any alcohol- based product must be avoided for three days

stop wasting your time with smp..i had exactly same problem. looks good for a week or sp then disappears. i came to realise that for density to stay in the form of dots you need real tatto dots not smp dots.. smp is ok for bald heads, its useless for density.

Yeah that's my experience too. They lead you to believe it will stay dots but in reality it's just a bit blue over an area of skin

What can you do about this because I've got an excellent immune system and as a scientist it did cross my mind that this could be a possibility. Did they tell you how rare this is or if there is any way to know beforehand

I used a different color (darker) and it seemed to hold.make sure you wait a full 10 days before putting anything wet on hair or gym. We went black and it looks actually pretty good but I need another treatment

The first treatment faded too much after 9 days. A different needle was used but it looks much better. I will need a 3rd treatment. Under bright light you can still see a bald area but in normal lighting it’s almost normal looking. 3rd session will add texture and density.
