SMP Was No Good for my Hairline (Female)

Having always struggled with thin, fine hair and a high forehead I thought I would give hairline microblading a try. I chose a clinic who claim to be experts and even trainers. The clinic told me that SMP would be more suitable than microblading, and trusting that they were the experts I went ahead with the first of three sessions for $500.
Well, it looked awful. The dots were uneven, some large, some small; and blue-black and honestly looked like blackheads. I hid with hats for a few weeks until I could consult at another place who said no way! I was never suitable for SMP and should have got hairline microblading LIKE I WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE!
They also said the ink was placed too deep since I have thin skin so thats why the colour looked darker and the dots were bleeding and were much too big. Seems like the first clinic werent experts after all. How can they claim to be trainers but not even know how deep to place the ink for different skin types?
So 2 laser sessions, 20 weeks, and $1000 later and the hairline "blackheads" are still fading. I still have fine hair and a high hairline, but now having fading dots and a total of $1500 worse off. Now I'm not even so sure I want to try microblading... I might as I trust the new clinic but get them to do a test spot first rather than the whole head.
