1 year anniversary!!! - Savannah, GA

UPDATED FROM ticklemepink

Almost 9and a half years after breast aug.

WORTH IT$5,840
So I am having my implants removed. Its been almost 10 years with them already! I love them still today as much as I did when they dropped. However, my body is as happy with them and they must go.

I have had some immune issues for a little over 3 years but the last 2 after I had covid my body wants to detox everything.

I have my surgery scheduled for March 15, 2022. I am not going to lie, I'm terrified of the outcome. As you can see I had no boobs to start with after having babies. I was a 32AA about 96 pounds. Now I'm 34DD 120 pounds. I'm really hoping I have more left than started because I am older and weigh more. I guess I'll see.
I'll keep you updated on my removal journey.

This is my biggest fear! I’m considering getting implants (32AA). But I’m concerned about developing health issues. Do you regret getting them 10 years ago?
Hi
I understand a lot of people are afraid of this. I’m just wondering how you know that it’s due to the implants? I have three close friends without implants and they all developed autoimmune diseases. I’m very curious of how it goes for you. If you’ll feel an improvement in health. Crossing my finger for you that you will get better.
I’m planing a BA and think it’s very helpful that you share your story with us. Thank you <3
I developed issues but they didn’t go away after explant so I’m putting them back in ! I think anxiety can heighten symptoms for people as well . Sadly I know many women who explanted hoping they would wake up better and none of them are
Sad to hear that the issues remained. Autoimmune diseases aren’t fun and I hope you find something that will help you. One thing I know that my friends with autoimmune disease do is intermittent fasting. There’s a lot of research too that shows good results with intermittent fasting and autoimmune diseases. It’s at least positive you can get your implants back knowing they weren’t the cause of it.
Implants should be change after 10-15 years so you just got an update now :) and they will probably look as good as they did before.
Hope it all works out good for you. Best wishes from Sweden <3
How did your explant go ? I removed mine may 2019 as I thought my health issues were from them . Turns out 2 years later and nothing has changed except I’m super depressed with my outcome . I am less then AA32 and weigh 140 lbs . My body will not lose weight no matter what . Before I was 33DDD and 130 lbs . I’m still “sick” but I see now it’s all just anxiety based and I feel the same ! I am actually putting them back in . Consult is august! First set was 540 cc saline and I was DD . Then 2 nd set was 750 cc and I was DDD . Only had the 750 for 1.5 years . BII started to take off and me and my anxiety made myself SICK !! So it sadly was a lot of money wasted
I’m so sorry to hear you are unhappy with your results. May I ask do you have explant photos? I also have 700 cc and thinking of explanting. It would be very helpful. Is it the size that makes you feel unhappy or over all health? Possibly there is a detox period and some holistic approaches you can take further push out all the toxins.
good luck with the explant! I hope you have a speedy recovery. My MIL just went through this and is now considering any options she has to either do a lift or another smaller implant. She also had very small breast tissue before but her implants were in for waaaaay too long. She had them for 25 years, one saline implant ruptured, while the other was a grade 4 contracture. So far she hasn't expressed any reversal with health problems.

What kind of implants did you get? Silicone/saline? Over/under?
I got silicone "gummy bears" unders
Congrats on your 1 year mark! They look wonderful! I love the size and shape. I am scheduled in January for my BA either 375 or 425 silicone unders and I hope they turn out like yours! :-) I am saving one of your pics to show my PS! How many cc's did you end up getting?
Oh thanks :). I got 450ccs ultra high profile. Good luck and ill keep a look out on your review :)
Happy anniversary! Looking fantastic. Thanks for sharing scar photos!
Thank you! And your welcome. I figured its important bc someone women heal faster than others and im a slow one so wanted to let everyone they do get better over time.
i was looking for pics of 1 year post-op and came across your review. Thank you for posting. Now I know what to look forward to at 2 months and 1 year marks.

Thank you for your 1 year update with photos! It's so nice for other members to see how you're doing a year later. I like how you can dress 'em up or down, depending upon the occasion. You look so great. Glad you're happy and bouncy too! :)

1 year mark

I got my new boobies on October 23, 2012. I am so thankful that I did get them. I am always going bra shopping now where before I hated having to get bras. I have 2 drawers full of bras. I still have to do my exercises twice a day to make sure they're not stiff in morning or at night. They jiggle like real boobs and feel like real ones. Went to 1 yr dr appt and he said they are perfect! I am so happy with the size and profile I picked out. I got 450cc uhp. I can wear no padding or no push up when I dont want them to pop (like when im doing school functions for my daughter) so they dont look as big as they sound or I can wear a little push up when im going out with my husband and they pop right out.i was upset for awhile thinking I didnt go big enough but now im happy bc I can play them up or down and that is now important to me. My scars almost gone (scars always take forever to heal on me but when they do you cant even see them unless I point them out). I am extremely happy with my decision, my results, and my doctor. Thank you all that helped me get through my decision making process and after surgery. And thank you to all that have read my review and it has helped them.
