Hi,
I wanted to share my experience using Dysport and why. Within the last few months I really started to notice how uneven my eye brows and eyes have become. It is as if one eye is saggier than the other and it was starting to become more and more obvious. I didn't want any photographs of myself taken and it was making me feel so self conscious. I started doing some research on what might help my particular problem. Obviously I didn't want to do something major and was up for trying something small and non-permenant in case it made things worse. I watched quite a few videos on youtube and read some similar reviews on here as well before I completely decided this is something I wanted to talk to someone about (and then later do).
I then had to research who in my area had experience with injectables. I found Dr. Finger and associates and found nothing but positive stories shared so I called and made an appointment (same day which was awesome!) with Dallas.
I got to the office a little early and the women at the front was just the nicest. I was nervous and the last thing I wanted to feel was any judgement and I felt nothing but goodness. Then Dallas called me back and I explained to her what was bothering me and why. She listened well and let me explain completely my goals and concerns. Then she shared what she thought would work best for the asymmetry. She was clear that this might work and it might not. And even if it did work, it may not be perfect. I definitely appreciated the realistic approach and I decided to try the Dysport that day. She briefed me on how long it would take to see any results, safety stuff, had me sign the consent forms, and took a few pictures for my file. The injections themselves were pretty painless. We did 30 units on the inside of my right brow (like above my nose) and 30 units on the outside of my right eye. This was to allow the brow to lift without the other muscles pulling down on it -therefore allowing more symmetry. She told me to take some pictures so that I could see for myself any changes.
Within a week I could see a subtle change and within two weeks things only got better. I was around family for Christmas and no one noticed (not even my husband) which I take as a good thing because I would rather have less of an effect than too much! I look at the pictures of before and it's embarrassing. The only thing I regret was waiting as long as I did. I am so happy with my results and I feel so much more confident knowing I look more symmetrical -like I did when I was younger!
