I had been suffering extreme back, neck, and...
I had been suffering extreme back, neck, and shoulder pain for about a decade. After years of nonsurgical aids (yoga, chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy), I decided to get a breast reduction. After having to wait several weeks to be put on the schedule, I consulted with one doctor who seemed incompetent and unhelpful, and then another doctor who seemed somewhat more competent, but whose staff was unapproachable, rude, and unknowledgeable. Both of the doctors were intimidating, unhelpful, and they did not seem to want to answer my questions. Their before and after pics were horrifying, but I decided I needed the surgery to relieve my pain, and so I would do it despite the bad aesthetic results. Neither doctor could put me on their surgical schedule until they cleared things with my insurance company, but neither would actually take the time to talk to my insurance company either. This was actually the main reason I finally went to see Dr. Curtsinger.
Dr. Curtsinger was the complete opposite of those two experiences. When I expressed how desperately I needed this surgery, his staff got me into see him immediately, and they put me on the surgery schedule with no trouble.
Dr. Curtsinger was open and honest, friendly, and knowledgable. He answered all my questions, and even some that I hadn't thought to ask. He and his staff worked diligently with me and my insurance company to make sure I could feel taken care of and stress-free. The surgery itself was only a few hours, and the recovery was almost pleasurable compared to the back pain that I had been feeling for years. I took no pain medication after the surgery, and just relaxed and watched TV for a few days. The pain I felt was minimal, thanks to Dr. Curtsinger's instructions and expert techniques. I could already tell my back pain was gone, and I was so much more comfortable in my own body.
Even more important than his friendliness, honesty, and attentiveness is Dr. Curtsinger's expertise. Immediately after surgery, I peeked at the surgical sight and was astounded by how natural and perky my breasts were. His scar therapy has already worked wonders -- I'm only 5 weeks post-surgery, and the scars are already fading! He was able to give me exactly what I had requested -- a full B cup (which is a relief after living with F cups!). The other two doctors I saw before Curtsinger told me they could not guarantee even a ballpark break cup size, and that I simply needed to "hope for the best." Dr. Curtsinger, on the other hand, delivered what he promised! My breasts are perkier than they've ever been, and they look completely natural and beautiful. I could not have dreamed of a better experience!
