When I decided I wanted to have reconstruction plastic surgery after a massive weight loss, I started doing research on plastic surgeons. I have several friends that have had plastic surgeries done and did not have favorable results. Some of them are even disfigured for life. I knew I wanted to go to a surgeon, that specializes with patients that I've had massive weight loss. I have several acquaintances and a few friends that I had already had procedures done by Dr Sauceda. That sent me on my quest to completely and thoroughly research who he was, his credentials and the results he achieved. I researched many plastic surgeons for over a year and a half I research surgeons everywhere with in the US, Mexico and The Dominican republic. After having many conversations via email I decided to meet Dr Sauceda while he was in Las Vegas. After my consult with Dr Sauceda, I knew I was 1000% sure that he was the right surgeon for me. Dr Sauceda answered all my questions, showed me what expect with my results and he could not stress enough that it was so important that I have realistic expectations. I have done a lot of damage to my body by having an excess 160 pounds on it and I know I'm not going to be perfect. I knew I would need at least 2 rounds of plastics. Dr. Sauceda will not do anything that is not safe or too risky. I could not have all the procedures I needed to have done in one round. Since meeting Dr. Sauceda in 2012 I have made two trips to see him. My first round of plastics was in 2013. I stayed about 12 days after having surgery. That trip I had a full lower body lift with an anchor cut, an arm lift, a small thigh lift, and a breast augmentation. I was ecstatic with my results. I spent 4 days in the clinic after surgery. The clinic staff was wonderful and so accommodating. After leaving the clinic I went back to the hotel and had daily visits from a nurse and Dr. Sauceda. Patty the nurse help me change my dressings every day and make sure I wasn't having any complications. The whole time I was there, my pain was managed very well. My pain level was never over a 4 or 5 most of the time. I was going out to lunch / dinner, and going to the movies five days after having my surgery. The hotel staff was wonderful and accommodating as well. I never felt unsafe the whole time I was there in Mexico. My second round of plastics I had done April this year (2017) I had a full 360 upper body lift, my arms revised, and minor liposuction on my lower back and abdomen. I spent 8 days in Monterrey this time. All the clinic staff used a translator app to help with any communication barriers. I had daily visits from Patty and Dr. Sauceda checked in with me every day as well. Just like the first time my pain was managed extremely well. Once again I am so happy with my results and am so happy I made the right decision by choosing Dr. Sauceda. I have no regrets, and I would recommend Dr Sauceda to anybody. I trust his opinion and I'm happy that I listen to him about the procedures that I needed. He even talk me out of doing other procedures because he said it wouldn't be worth it and honestly it really wasn't necessary.
