Today is day 4 of my procedure and I’m feeling great. Not sure when I go in to be weighted but, I guess I’ll call and find out. However, I will weight myself if it will be a while for next doctors.

Sorry for typo I meant weighed.

10/19/17 Spoke with Dr. today and he was very disappointed that I couldn't get 64oz down, I explained to him I was very full the first two days and it was extremely hard to drink 64oz the first tow days. Orbera date: 10/16/17 couldn't do it, 10/17/17 couldn't do it, 10/18/17 felt overly full but managed to get down about 40oz, today attempting to get down 54 oz and tomorrow I will get the entire 64oz God willing. Nonetheless, I chose my Dr. because he actually cares and want to see his patients succeed even if he have to be very firm with you, but that's not a bad thing, I don't think its just a bit hard but, I know I can do it and will do it. Before the surgery I was drinking 100oz or more a day and with the balloon its a bit hard, but I can do All Things through Christ Whom Strengthens Me.

U were drinking all that water before the balloon and still didn’t loose weight. That’s what drives me crazy when everyone always says to drink more water so I’ll feel more full...please, it doesn’t work

Actually Patunia, I was driniking around 80-100 oz of water a day but my issue was I was not eating properly so my body was always in starvation mode only eating sometimes once a day, and if you know anything about weight loss you know you have to eat to lose weight properly. Example skinny or small people stay small because the eat all day small portions. I've lost weight before doing just that but since I'm up in age from when I did this by 5 years its a little harder.

BTW I was drinking that much before surgery its a little harder now, but I will get those 64 oz of water down, as I'm not an a juice or soda drinker and actually can't stand anything but water and maybe my coffee but since I can't have creamer in my coffee I will just do the water.

UPDATE on Orbera almost 1 week 10/23/17

toosie
10/22/17 Today is a good day, not that any have been really bad, I've been successful at getting down all my fluids (64oz or more) since 10/20/17, no nausea, no vomiting since placement on 10/16/17, I will update my weight loss tomorrow 10/23/17 for the 1 week mark. I'm excited about this journey and I've signed up for the gym as I feel pretty good and according to my doctor I can start working out within a week so my plan is to start this week with maybe 3-4 days.

Let us know how ur doing? I’m feeling good, just some cramps. But I’m still hungry

Patunia, if you walk around right after consuming a meal you will probably burp and it actually helps with digestion and the cramping.

Today I weighed in

toosie

Today I weighed -in as tomorrow is my official weigh-in day but, I did it today because I looked smaller to myself this morning. I will recheck tomorrow in the AM to. I usually only weigh 1 time a week with the exception of today/tomorrow. I’m officially on my 4th week tomorrow 11/13/17 and I’m down 19lbs from initial weight of 212lbs. No nausea, no vomiting since placement, a little acid reflux but, I’ve learned a bit about what my body don’t take to with the balloon so no more reflux either. I fell great and I pray I lose 20-25 this next 3-4 weeks. Placement October 16, 2017.????

Nice work. I had mine put in on November 2nd and so far it is going great. I have had no heartburn whatsoever, and just a little nausea the first two days. I see where you stated that you have had a little heartburn. Was that from the beginning or after you started eating real food. Thanks and good look with your continued success.

No heartburn, acid reflux and that was early on in the procedure for me, but I've learned what I cannot eat with the balloon and I will not make that mistake again, but other then that no nausea or vomiting thank goodness. I only weigh myself once a week on Monday's as that was the day I had my procedure in October. I workout 4 days a week weight lifting 30 minutes and 40 walking at incline on the treadmill. I also eat around 500-800 calories a day and I can barely get that in and I drink 64-78oz of water daily.
