Cost For Upper 6 On One
I still haven't listed my cost for my all on 6 because I'm waiting to see how my insurance handles everything. As of right now the cost upfront was $27, 000 that was $12,000 for the dentist who handles the teeth from the lab and all the molds etc. and $15,000 for the oral surgeon that includes all images, 3D scans, extractions, surgery etc. My insurance seems to have already knocked it down to $24,000 as with most dental insurances you have $1,500 towards any dental procedures and then they protect you from being over charged for extractions etc. so always have them run everything through your insurance if your dentist and oral surgeon participate. This cost also includes a bottom right molar that I needed removed and an implanted inserted. I'll keep this updated once I have the final number.

30 Days Post Op
30 Days in and I'm still having this numbing feeling on my left lip area it's pretty much there all the time now. I went back to my oral maxillofacial surgeon and my impression was he's never had anyone have numbness from implants on the upper area it tends to only happen with lower implants? Well, that didn't help make me feel better. I do still have some swelling in my upper left palate so he put me on a 6 day steroid pack to see if that would help alleviate the swelling that may also be putting pressure on my nerves? Overall I'm feeling great no pain or discomfort just this numbing feeling. Eating can me a challenge at times and I find that it's more of a mind over matter type thing. I've lost 13 pounds and recently gained 3 back. The one thing I find is it's a lot of work getting and keeping everything clean that I tend not to snack during the day or at night so that's probably why I've lost weight and I'm not eating my favorite thing right now popcorn and chips...

After an accident at 14 years old and damaging my 4 front teeth and several bad procedure after another I finally had a dental partial in my early 20s to a fixed Bridge in my 30s to finally having to make the decision to get dentures or implants I knew I had to go with implants even though the cost is crazy I couldn't imagine having dentures at my age. I did lots of research and finally found a dentist that I felt comfortable with and most of all a very qualified oral surgeon. 3 weeks later and lots of swelling and bruises I'm trying to be patient with all that comes along with my recovery. The one thing that I think is making me a little negative is the look of my temporaries. I'm so un happy with them and my dentist also agreed he's not fully happy with them but keeps reminding me that there just my temporaries and I'll have several try ins for my permanents until I'm happy with them. Considering how much this procedure cost I certainly hope so. I'm learning to get creative with my diet and was told this week to start chewing very soft food, so far so good. The only thing I've noticed is I tend to get this numbness type feeling in my upper left lip and gum area at times then it goes away? Is that normal?

Hey, how’s it going? Have you started the process for your perms?
Hi, yes I've had two try-ins so far and hoping next week they will be exactly what I want. So far everything has healed great with no problems except the slight numbness I had early on and that has gone away. I'm looking forward to finally getting my permanents mainly because I'm not happy with my temporaries. The only thing I may have done differently is gone to a place that makes the teeth on the premises. My finals are coming from Ivoclar. I did pay a little extra for exactly what I want as far as material etc. so hopefully it all works out. Thank you for asking! It sounds like everything is going great with you. This process is long and expensive but when you've spent most of your life not smiling and feeling self conscious it's totally worth it.
I’m glad to hear you are almost there! My dentist has his own lab but the success ultimately lies with the artist making the teeth. It’s a hassle to have the lab offsite but possibly that lab will have excellent teeth artists.
It is fantastic to be able to smile and no one knows they are fake, which amazes me. It’s like I’ve always had these teeth. I’m a ‘worth it’ but I am withholding that rating until I am completely done.
Keep us posted on your perms!!!
