Diva Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation - Treatment for Stress Incontinence

UPDATED FROM ClwtrCW

Okay - Now I can say it's worth it!

WORTH IT$3,500
The improvement was kind of slow and gradual - but I just realized the other day that it's been months since I've leaked urine while exercising! I still have to be proactive and empty my bladder before I start, and I'm still in some danger if I jump a lot - but it's so much better, and I'll take it. Also, leaking during intimacy is completely gone. I'm glad I did the series of three treatments, and I might go back for one or two more just to improve the results a bit more. The overall rejuvenation and improvement in vaginal tightness is just a bonus.

Kathleen, ARNP. Loved Kathleen - she made me feel so comfortable, as did her assistant. It was over quickly. I was taken right on time, didn't have to wait at all. I appreciate that all of their paperwork is digital. There's no reason in this day/age that we have to fill out a bunch of papers. They really do it right at this office.

Finished with 2nd & 3rd Treatments

Oh my. First of all, after my first treatment, I received a call from Kreithen that the nurse practioner who performed my first treatment had left the practice and they couldn't keep my appt. for the second treatment until they found a replacement. Ugh. Thank goodness I didn't buy a whole package! So I regrouped and called Diaco Plastic Surgery in Tampa. When I made my first appt, they weren't up and running with their laser yet. So even though they were closer to me, I was impatient and chose to drive to Sarasota for the first one. However, now they were up and running and since then I've had treatments 2 & 3 with them.

The second treatment was SO much more painful than the first, and then the third was a bit more too. However, it's relatively short time under the laser, so it's tolerable.

Still too early to tell on the overall effect, but I have already seen a slight improvement when I sneeze and during intercourse. Still peeing when I run, though! I can't really tell you if it's improved. For me that's an either you do or you don't! The doctor said to give it 6 months from the first treatment before making a determination on success... so I'll come back to update in February 2018!

I have not experienced many side effects, but the discharge is MUCH heavier after treatment 3 than it was after 1 or 2. Each time I've had very mild burning sensation for a day or so, and some itching as it heals.

How are your results at this point? You still experiencing urine loss when you run?
Sorry I missed your comment - I have had significant improvement. Now I'm safe to run as long as I make sure I've emptied my bladder!

I'm so tired of peeing my pants when I workout! I have to wear Icon panties (from the makers of Thinx) to absorb the urine, and then I worry I smell terrible. Worse, I can't run an errand after workouts because I know I smell by the time its over - all due to stress incontinence. I went for my first of 3 treatments yesterday, August 15. Next one scheduled 5 weeks later on September 19. The total for 3 treatments is a cost of $3500.

The procedure itself was very easy. It was super fast, minimal discomfort. The numbing cream works great. I was back at work for the afternoon with a little bit of soreness, but nothing major. Some discharge lasted about 24 hours.

I was told to refrain from any vaginal penetration (sex/tampons) for a minimum of 48 hours - but recommended 5 days. I'll be waiting the 5 days.
