I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Brian Derby, Kerri, Lisa and the rest of the staff at Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center. My experience could not have been better. I recently had breast reduction surgery. The last 3-years I have lived with back pain including upper back spasms. I went to my family doctor several times trying to figure out what was wrong with my back and why the pain was getting worse. At one point I ended up in the emergency room because the back spasm was so bad. My doctor thought since I had not injured myself that perhaps my problem was a little arthritis developing. Again, I was prescribed muscle relaxers and instructed to do exercises to strengthen my back. I felt this was a band-aid. Taking muscle relaxers was not going to work for me and I needed a solution. After leaving the ER I was so frustrated I started researching on my own. I discovered that my breast could be causing the problems with my back. I then started researching Plastic Surgeons and found Dr. Derby. I was nervous going to my consultation, but instantly felt comfortable with the office staff and Dr. Derby. My surgery was life changing! My back no longer hurts, no back spasms, I can turn my head side to side without tightness or pain plus I cannot believe how great my breast look. My breast did not look this good in my 30s! My only regret is that I did not do this sooner. Dr. Derby more than exceeded my expectations!
