I want to start by saying that Dr. Derby is nothing shy of amazing. I have several doctors in the family, I've worked in hospitals for years, I'm currently in medical school and work with physicians daily - and from all of my experiences, he is by far the best surgeon I've come across. From his professionalism and expertise to his kindness and his ability to connect with his patients, you can not find better than him. I had always been interested in a breast augmentation but never looked into it. When I finally made an appointment, I was extremely nervous about the whole thing. However, from the second I walked in the door, I felt so welcomed. The nurses and staff are incredibly warm and friendly; I felt confident and comfortable about the whole process. When I left, there wasn't a question on what doctor or whether I was going forward with the procedure, it was only a matter of when! I had my breast augmentation in May 2017. I wanted a larger cup size, but nothing that would overwhelm my petite figure, so we both thought 385ccs would work great. Surgery went very smoothly. I had a very minor complication (a small hematoma) that arose several hours later, which was no fault to Dr. Derby, as these things happen occasionally. Even though it was such a small thing, Dr. Derby stopped at absolutely nothing to make sure I felt completely cared for. My surgery was on a Friday and when I realized something was a little off, he and his staff met me and my husband at his office after hours to make sure everything was okay. He was very open and honest with me about everything. I had no concerns about it and was very comfortable. He made arrangements to take care of the minor complication on Monday morning. And everything has been smooth sailing since then! He did such a great job; I absolutely love my results! Every time I see Dr. Derby, it's like visiting with a good friend. I truly believe I stumbled onto a gem when it comes to Dr. Derby. If you have decided to have surgery, I promise you, you will not regret choosing Dr. Derby.
