Hello all my divas out there.
My surgery date is around the corner.
I am very excited not nervous, I am 5'4" my current weight is 162 pounds and I have 3 kids 22, 26 16.
I am having a tummy tuck with muscle repair Liposuction and a possible bbl.
I residual in Florida and this is my 3rd surgent I am having done.
My first surgery was in florida at vanidades with dr. Ghurani, I did my arms.... after the time went by I notice the poor work he did on me.... second surgery at the same place different doctor and I went in for a Breast Lift with a gummy bear silicone implants.
I am only 3 months post up.
Now I decided to do my last surgery in d.r for several reasons. Here in florida I pay a lot of money for my surgeries and the results for me it's not a wow! .
So that is why I chose to go with dr.Medina after all the good reviews that she had, I decided to go with her and not stay here in florida for my surgery.
Well right now my surgery date is around the corner sep,7
And I can not wait.

Best wishes to you that's my doctor as well please keep me posted. I understand what your saying I've spent so much money in the states and my results are awful.

She (Medinas)is very good with tummy, however if you don't have enough fat for a bbl , I suggest you to look for an other doctor, with me I am still here in Dominican Republic, at my home recovery and I tell you this I am very disappointed with my self I should of look around first. In my situation she claims she did took some fat but it was not enough to transfer it to my rear but in the other hand, my opinion if you got some fat out just used it on my butt .... no she did not do that.
Not even to used to fill up some areas, very disappointed and for the money I pay in my opinion is not worth it. For a tummy and some lipo I should of did it in florida And for less. But like I say to everyone do your research before choosing a doctor. Because when you are there ,they will come up with a lot of surprises. And the most important thing make sure your hemoglobin is up to 14 if you are going to do more then surgeries. ...

Thanks I'm so sorry to hear you're having a not so good trip. I pray something happens that can turn it round. That's a long way to go to be disappointed. I'm trying to lose wait maybe I should hold off on the weight loss.Take care and I pray you get to feeling better

I am not a doctor, and I just can tell you about my journey and my experience with her.... I am not here to cover the sun with one finger, because that's is impossible.
Every one are different and results are going to be different. ... however it maybe a possibility that one of this factors can happen, because is real, she is very good yes, but my opinion and this is only my opinion, she is good with tummys and making your waist very small, I give her a 65 % when it comes to bbl.
Either then that my home recovery so far I can say is just okay, I been dealing with the mosquitos and protecting my self from them, I really do not want to cach the( zica )...George the driver he is excellent .... either them that I just waiting for my day to come.
Like that I can return to my normal life. Good luck with your journey a2new4you

You are absolutely right. I am thinking about getting a tummy tuck with lipo and possibly arm lipo. I am new to the forum and trying to weigh my odds on where to get procedure done at a decent price. You mentioned Florida ( having done just lip). Is there anyone in particular that I should begin to research through forum? If so, what is the approximate cost (compared to going to DR)

I haven't step in the scale jet.
For me it doesn't make sense because I am only 1 week post op.
However from 130 I gained weight to 163 just for this surgery.
I know she removed a little of bit of xtra skin from tummy , and she did only lipo on my back no bbl. Just curiasity just to know how much I weigh. ..
I would wait for 2 months and then I would weight my self, just to see.

Funny the same thing happened to me she saw all my pictures said what she could do. Than surgery day I don't have enough fat but funny how almost 4 months later I'm looking at all this bra and underarm fat that was left. Very disappointing considering all the monies that were spent . Chose your surgeon wisely.

Can I ask you something... I am suppose to stay at My Home recovery and Medina said that they would reserve my dates.
But I never really got an confirmation e-mail or anything. Just very vague. So I e-mailed Medina to ask if she could confirm that my dates are set at Myhome recovery. She e-mailed back with the website of My home recovery and said I should contact to make a deposit to make sure I have my dates reserved.
Isn't that weird? I send a 5oo dollars deposit for Medina. I e-maild My home recovery and did not get a reply.
So how did your reservation go about?

My love... this is all new for me.
I did the same I pay my $500.00 deposit with her.
Send her by email my flight information and I told her that I need the driver to pick me up at the airport, that is $100.00 that she charge and I also explains to her that I am going to stay in my home recovery for 11 days, she told me that , as soon I get there she will charge me for the remain bal. Of the surgery, insurance, the choufer, and the 11 days stay. Plus the massages.
She never mentioned to send no deposit for my stay... like 2 weeks ago, they was having trouble with there internet. I will pay everything as soon I get there. But do not quote me on that, make sure you have that clear.

Ok. Well I e-mailed myhomerecovery to make sure all is well for my dates no answers. So I guess I will see when I get there. I might just be paranoid because I'm traveling alone....

@glamlux hi! Make sure you call the recovery house and get in touch with them, the last thing you want to do is have no place to stay and trying to find a recovery house when you get there, I know they require a deposit to reserve your stay..best of luck ladies!!!!!

Tummy Tuck with Muscle Repair, Lipo.
Just an update of my one month with 8 days post-op tummy tuck with muscle repair, lipo at the Republica dominicana with dr. Tania media. No bbl, not enough fat. .. just putting on my clear tape , pure cocoa cream and vitamins e. To minimize the scar and the color.so far I feel good , I already started to used my waist trainer I am using size 32 at this moment.a long way to go.

I be in 2 more months a 1 year post-op with my tummy tuck with doctor medina, don't like my bellybutton however the scar is not so bad.... I'm still wearing my faja....

I go to get my surgery Sep 8th, but I fly in on the 6th. So I will be there with you! I am very excited as well... I had a tummy tuck and some lipo 2 years ago here in Va. and I paid a lot of money and was not impressed at all. I KNOW it could have been done better. So, I completely agree with you on getting your surgery in D.R. with Dra. Medina
Yes, finally I am 1 week with 1 day post op.
I am leaving today , my home recovery , today will be my 10 DAYS here.
Driver will pick me up at 2:30 pm to take me to the embassy and suites hotel for my remaining 2 days. ...
