No Kids. Gastric Bypass/ Diabetic Patient EXTRA Skin, Saggy Breast, No Butt - Dominican Republic, DO

In beginning the process of finding a doctor was the hardest part ever. We tend to become blinded by the "barbie doll" image doctors. I came across Dr.Gustavo page seeking the educated qualities of a Surgeon. From my initial email Dr. Gustavo gave me a call, I was surprised on how GREAT his English was and how informative he was on my past surgeries and diabetic medical condition. (Fast forwarding)

Two months later I was landing in the Dominican Republic, I was afraid, I went by myself, I was excited, my emotions was everywhere.

Dr. Almonzar had his driver Moses pick me up for the Airport, I went straight to x-rays, then I went to meet Dr. Almonzar ????. To be honest it was a breath of freshair to hear someone speak your native language and understand your nervousness of what was about to happen.

Dr. Almonzar and I sat down and talked for a while, I think he was doing the Psychological evaluation on me without me knowing (lol) but he was speaking to me about my realistic goals of surgery. I asked the same questions I asked via email in person and his answer were the same. This one on one conversation helped me calm down, gain confidence, trust, and faith in the surgery that was about to take place. (Fast forward)

Surgery morning, I was a emotional "Cry Baby". I called almost everyone in my cell phone telling them I love them and crying. Dr. Gustavo came to me in the waiting room and gave me the bad-news. My Hemo was at 11 and the BBL will not be happening due to the back lipo causing me to loses a lot of blood. But, he would be able to give me breast implants and skin revision along with the original plan of a Tummy Tuck. I tried everything in the book to convince him to do it, I beg, I pleaded and his answer was "NO. I will not put you at risk for that procedure." I started crying again l, even thought about going home cause I wanted a BBL over everything.

We then went to his office he showed me my before picture he has taken of me (see below) I was sick to my stomach of how my upper body looked. I took a deep breath and said Let's go Doc. we went upstairs to the room, marked me up, took the I'VE and pill with the nurse's, went to the surgery room and went right to sleep.

When I woke up I was in my hospital room for the night and Dr. Gustavo Almonzar was the first person I seen. I don't know I any words were exchanged (I was high lol lol). The next morning bright and early Dr. Almonzar came to my room and said "do you feel like a bus hit you?" I said "oh yes I do". He looked at my incision I peaked at my stomach and breast (I wanted to cry) I never ever ever thought in a million years I would see my stomach flat and my breast standing at attention without a bra???? I fell in love with myself all over again.(fast forward)

Day 3 appointment- My body was sensitive the breast was something I did NOT research on so I had A LOT of questions Dr. Almonzar and his beautiful assistant Catrina were very gentle and patient with me. They both were very informative, kind and helpful.

As the appointments process continued every 3 days, the massages started and the drains being removed I became confident in the 16 hour flight back home. With all the help at Dr. recommended Rocio Recovery house info was more then ready to embark on my fresh start in my New HOT Body.

I would recommend Dr. Gustavo Almonzar to anyone who wants a quality surgery where the doctor will still check on you 30 days post-op just to say hello and see how I am recovering. I am schedule to return to Dr. Almonzar to do my BBL. I'm super excited and blessed to have a Doctor I can trust.
