Countdown Begins
As the day approaches , I’m almost done purchasing all my supplies. As well as educating myself on the type of body I want so I can clearly communicate with my doctor also. I still need to obtain my letter for short term disability *i want to be paid during my leave* . Disappointed that I won’t be able to see my pcp for a CBC count before I go so im just going to overload on iron pills and just pray that god is on my side ( this method is not recommended but it is what is it right now ) but more importantly I found out that I’m 4 lbs over my BMI limit so monitoring my intake and trying to loose 10 lbs in the next 28 days ... let us all pray. I’ll be including. A list of products ipurchsed including price & retail chained I purchased the product from. Thanks again ladies & good luck on your surgical journeys
Bummed
I’m so bummed out , I had to reschedule my surgery for March 9 ! Although super disappointed I’m trying to look at the brighter side of things like more time to get my blood count up , no longer on a strict financial budget, but LADIES WHATEVER YOU DO BOOK YOUR FLIGHT LAST ! I booked my flight and spent $628 and now I have to pay minimum of $200 to modify the dates plus fight differential. If I’m not able to get both procedures this all was a waste of money because I could’ve stayed local and got 1 of my procedures for less. So making sure my weight and hemoglobin are on point is crucial.
Passport Time
Next week I’m applying for my passport , I’m hoping to receive it prior to the holidays because I can only imagine how busy it might get. Passport book -$110 + execution fee -$25 ( if you wish to expedite it’s an addl $60) & or you can over night your passport after processing for ($15.00). I’m doing mines ahead of time to avoid any additional cost. I promised myself that I would start purchasing at least 2-3 recovery items every other week so the cost doesn’t become overwhelming.
