TT, MR, Lipo 360 & BBL W Dr. Laurent

Sooooo.... I know it’s been a while but I had my surgery in May. Everything went well. At the time of surgery my hemo was a 14.7 and after surgery it was 11.5 so I didn’t need any blood transfusions. I ended up having my surgery at Richardson which I’m kind of happy I did because I’m still kind of iffy about Cipla. Just personal preference. Their clinic was very clean and I had no issues while there.
So I got there that morning super early and did my paperwork. He marked me up and then went in to surgery. I didn’t have the blue pill. So after anesthesia of course they immediately started. Dr. Patrick St Louis assisted him. I was still awake. I could feel him doing lipo to my arms and so I told them and they gave me more anesthesia about 10 minutes into it I fell asleep... I’m assuming from meds too and didn’t wake up again until I was out of surgery and back in my room. So I ended up last minute changing what I wanted to get. I got arm lipo, chin lipo, tummy tuck with muscle repair, and a bbl. I’m very happy with my results so far but of course still swelling. Trying to stay faithful to this faja.... now on to aftercare.
Ok so his office is super small and super busy. Of course I didn’t expect it to be like the US in anyway but they don’t really set up appts so it’s all a waiting game and first come first serve... Then you’re waiting for him to get out of surgery so you’re just sitting there all day and I hate that... so with that being said, I didn’t even bother with the massages although they were included. I just had my masseuse come to our airbnb. I used John. He’s well known there and did a great job. I also had Elaine B as my nurse and she was awesome!!! The best nurse hands down. Dr.Laurent has been great about answering any questions I have had since I left and I appreciate that. He’s very caring and before I left I wanted to check my belly button out cause I was worried and he saw me even though it was 11 at night. Just like we flew in on a Sunday when he doesn’t even work and he still did my consult that day. He’s a great doctor. Once returning I had a mild complication due to fluid build up in my stomach. No fault of his but I will get into that in my next update and I will post pics!

so..... i've decided to go ahead and get my breast done down there too. :-) I'm excited about that. I want to get a breast reduction and lift with NO implants. I changed my mind because of not wanting to have to do all this again next year especially with flight prices. I also found an airbnb and booked my flights so I am good to go!!! I plan on documenting my entire journey through fb live in the fb group that I am in once I get there. I can hardly wait!

I began my journey looking for a doctor who you could tell cared and who did not have numerous patients each day. This was extremely important to me. I wanted to know that I could get in touch with him and not feel neglected post-op. When I contacted Dr. Laurent, he answered every single question I had. He also made sure to answer every single one of them within 30 minutes or less, no lie. It did not matter what time of day or night I asked and I had many questions lol. I received my quote for a tummy tuck with muscle repair, 360 lipo and BBL. It also included 12 days in a recovery house and as many in house massages as needed for no extra cost. It of course included all of the labs and standard things. Like many other doctors, it did not include blood needed for blood transfusions or the insurance which was $150 but that was to be expected. He said my quote would be good for a year and the deposit was $300. I also asked about microdermabrasion for acne scars and he said that he did not think that it would give me the desired results, which I appreciated. I like that he was honest rather than being money hungry and having me waste my money. Needless to say, first impressions were great.
So I decided to plan my surgery for May and will be paying my deposit by the end of next week. I ended up not going with the breast reduction/lift that I originally wanted because of not wanting to worry about my bbl and breast and how I would lay at night and extra recovery time. So I decided I would just do a round 2 later to get my breast done and possibly ab etching. I also ended up not wanting to do a recovery house because I have three childhood friends who offered to come with me and get an Airbnb and a nurse. I will update once it gets closer to my surgery.
*Update*
Paid my deposit, booked a nurse,got my meds and the only thing I should need to get from Dr. Laurent are my heparin shots to prevent blood clots. I’m currently looking for an airbnb. I’ve also found a surgery buddy which is a major plus! Getting my passport info sent off as we speak!!
