Day 5 post op! This morning my PS took my drain...

Day 5 post op! This morning my PS took my drain "purse" out, i felt like a snake was coming out of my belly. He took all the tapes and gauzes out and i saw my complete body for the first time! I almost cried! I'm so happy. I'm swollen but my belly is flat and my implants look good... i hope they stay this size .. too bad that hey are goinng to look smaller in a few weeks. :( Well, he gave me the new post op under garment and it is a little uncomfortable.. i took my first shower today .. it felt so good but as soon as i got out to dry myself , i passed out, i guess i need to eat better and hydrate more. I'm starting my massages tomorrow! :)

Peluita thanks for the updated pics...you look great! I'm still undecided between Dr. Hungria and Dr. Pizzoglio...I noticed your drains came out in 5 days...did you get any massages?

I had my surgery with Hungria on June 6th and I love not only that he did a wonderful job but his bedside manners and follow up have been wonderful. I would highly recommend him. I had a tummy tuck, lipo and breast augmentation. The recovery has been slower than I would of liked but considering everything he has done its to be expected. I am into my 3 of 10 massages that he recommended. The first one the lady doctor in his office did which was good but I decided to continue the massages at another place called Gabots Spa and I'm in love with the massages there. They do paraffin, ultrasonic and some other different types. The cost approximately $256 for 10. Once I take pics I will upload them.

Sorry but I haven't been on top of my emails lately. The surgery went great and although the recovery has been slower than I would of wished, I'm extremely happy with my results and experience. People just need to be aware that its a big surgery and the healing time should never be rushed because it's different for everyone. I've had many surgeries previously for other things and this one I will say has given me a run for my money. I'm a very active & independent person and not being able to do things right away has driven me crazy. I will post pics soon :)

Thanks for the update Peluita, I sent your doctor an e-mail with pictures and lab work for an estimate but I have not heard anything back. I was hoping to hear back from him before I booked with Dr. Pizzoglio. If you speak to the doctor soon can you tell them that Von is waiting for a response from my e-mail...I'm soooo freaking excited for you...lol...I'm going to send the e-mail again. Try to upload some pics and make sure you get plenty of rest!
i don´t think that he has good communication with emails. i sent him several emails and i never got a response. try calling his office number on mondays, wednesdays and fridays after 12pm.. i replied your inbox.
I had the same results, phone is definitely a better option. I am going to have my surgery with Dr. Hungria in June; tummy tuck, breast implants and some fat removed from my back. I want to ask him if he can do some lipo on my thighs as well. I'm traveling from the states as well and I'm a bit nervous. My husbands family is going to take care of me there. Did you stay overnight at the clinic? Any suggestions as to what I should bring with me. What should I expect after the procedures? I'm anxious! So any words would help :)
Make sure to keep us posted and post plenty of pics..My surgery date isn't until October...I plan to post my before and after pics closer to my surgery date...I did call the office and I was able to speak with the secretary there...I was feeling a bit skeptical at first (from the non response to e-mail) but after reading the posts I feel much better...Can't wait to see Peluita's pics.... good luck Makemeover40!

I just had mommy makeover wirh Drs. Luis and Manuel Espaillat. I did not know what to expect. They are careful, gracious, and I really had a great experience. Surprised at how minimal pain I had. Thy were awesome and I am very pleased.

1 day post op! I had my surgery yesterday and...
1 day post op! I had my surgery yesterday and today i'm feeling much better. I ended up having 400cc high profile silicone gel implants, subglanduar , tummy tuck , lipo on my back and fat transfer to mu buttocks. I told him that i also wanted lipo for my arms but the asssistant told me that he couldn do it because i wa loosing too much blood in one procedure. They took almos 5 liters of fat. I can see the difference even though i'm still swollen .. i cant wait for the final results. I feel like i should of went a little bigger with my boobs, let's see how they end up..well the final price was 6,200 and it included the bra and 1 undergarment for the belly.. (sorry, i dont know how to say it in english).. on a scale from 1 -10 my pain level is around a 5 or 6 and it goes up to a 10 wen i cough or do certain movements.. i aint that bad.. i feel like i did a million sit ups but the worst pain that i'm feeling is in my lower back.. i'm going to post some pics now..
