Pros:
Perkier breasts than before
Natural look
No health complications at all
No keloids
Scars are smooth, straight lines
Smooth experience
Dr. Krau is always pleasant to talk to
Cons:
Permanent loss of sensation in the nipples
Retained areolas (can only be corrected with further surgery)
Saggy again (though not as much as before sx)
More stretch marks (perhaps because the size of the implants along with the initial swelling?)
Bigger size than I wanted
Scars haven’t really faded or lightened in color
Implant on my left breast still feels “strange” at times.
Too much pain / hassle / time / money dedicated to this for “okay” results.

Went for a revision consultation

Dr. Krau was nice as always. I had to wait for hours even though I had a confirmed appointment, and was headed straight to the airport. One of the assistants was super rude when I politely reminded her.
Bottomline is I would have to pay a fee for revision - and unfortunately also pay and do the whole separate process for the radiation again to prevent keloids. Dr. Krau said he would have to do the full anchor lift all over again to correct my retained areolas, and to lift the breasts more. Because of all these costs + travel, I probably wouldn’t go with him again, as the amount would be same or more as staying local. And I don’t idealize him as a Dr. anymore. I think other doctors could provide similar results. I think my breasts look better than before the lift obviously. I am generally more comfortable with clothes and need way less support. I’m also very grateful for a relatively smooth experience with no health complications. But the results were not what I expected. I don’t regret the surgery, but when I weigh pros and cons now - two years later - I am not sure that it was worth it.
